Todd your daughter must be living right. Numerous beautiful trout cleaned, delivered and never frozen. Can it get any better? Yeah. A replacement pair of shades she lost on THAT crabbing trip w/Daddy at the Great Wall of Chalmettet. 😂!!! Enjoyable 25 minutes. Keep em coming, Please.
When fishing the trestles I use a light wire hook so they bend easy and I don’t lose as many jigs ! I also fish a light drag so I don’t lose fish to a bent hook ! I’ll be out a couple times next week ! Hope to see you out there !
Went out sunday afternoon, didnt have any matrix mega, but I threw vortex shad blazin hornet on 3/8 death grip, and ended up with 8 nice trout in about 2 hours with a flounder as a bonus. Tried 7 or 8 other colors but that one was all they wanted. (Also only had 4 left in my box and broke them all off).
Usually 1st week or so of opening brownie season I always catch leftover 10/15s white shrimp from last season believe it sometimes quite a few pounds. I would imagine there are some of those big boys swimming in da lake
Got a trip planned this Th but not sure if the weather this Th gonna allow Trestles trip.I HATE week end trips out to the Tracks and AVOID that area Yep the folks dat bought the olr Bayou Liberty Marina really spent a ton of money fixing dat place up!!Once again, thanks for head's up gonna be crowded out there!
My fishing buddies say that when you snag and loose your bait and tackle that you’re then in the penalty box. Not a good place to be when the bite is on.
@BigGillFishing how do you fish spoons in deep water? I've only seen Jigging and trolling as a trestle option. Spoon sounds fun though. I like them in the marsh.

Fishing at those bridges will never get old. Great video and great breakdown. You the man!

With the 3/8 are you letting it sink to bottom or fishing up in the water column?
Ya gotta be on the bottom. Todd even mentions it in this very video
Coming to Houston bring some of that La. Luck. I live in Deer Park south east of Houston. Good Video.
Good job.
Watching from Alaska. I use to fish that area before there was an interstate highway.
Me too! Chef Hwy and Highway 11 were the only way across on the east end until the late 60's.
Yeah, with a last name like Comeaux, you're definitely not a native of Alaska 😉
Big Trout in lake P!! Home of the 11.99
Do you ever go fishing with 3” finger mullet in Ponchatrain???🔥🔥💯
On the bottom or a cork
No

Tod, what day is it?
March 6
@@MarshManMasson it would be great and more educational if you can speak out the day of the trips. I've been learning a lot from your videos.
And blows my mind to think you would catch a trout that size on side of road. He must have got off interstate on wrong road I guess😅
Are you tagging some?
Yep
this is me
Save me a spot man I hope that one day I'll be able to get to ya
