As a non-American, the US tipping system is so weird to me. Not because it's weird to give extra money to the employee, but because it seems that tipping is borderline obligatory when it should be on the EMPLOYERS to pay their employees properly. Why not make the employers pay the employees the proper minimum wage, instead of guilt tripping the customers to shoulder the employer's obligation? But then, I also find using only wiping with toilet paper after going #1 #2 (instead of using bidet or washing up with water & soap) mind blowing (not in a good way tho lol sorry), and yet it's the norm in US, so I guess it's just a cultural difference huh.
Admitting that you illegally stay at someone’s house and are one of the worst burdens and somehow have a legal loophole in some states to stay there, especially in California squatters have rights which makes no sense some random person living in your house and you can’t legally kick them out tends to be a various extensive legal battle

And a lot of the people out here didn’t have any idea how this worked and believed it was a glitch. I had to explain to most of the people that’s it’s a fake check which is fraud and they know who deposits it and ping the acc and then show you how much you owe orrrrr you get arrested. I don’t wanna be stereotypical but out here in the ghetto the education is very low so they don’t understand the consequences of these actions
