It’s definitely not my favorite at the park, but it’s still a very fun coaster, despite its lackluster layout. The speed, g’s around the helixes, and airtime hills are far more intense, than the video portrays
@@matthewsouthwell9653 I mean joker isn’t that bad (mostly because I only have 40 credits so I don’t have anything to compare it with besides SFMM and CGA) but I mean I would not mind it being a clone
Front row review: The front is by far the best row! While the drop may not be as strong in this row, the first airtime hill, first helix, second airtime hill, second helix, fourth airtime hill, and fifth airtime hill sure are amazing in the front! Back row review: While the drop has some insane ejector airtime, the rest of the ride is a bit tamer than in the front row. That statement especially includes the final two hills after the trim kicks in.
This ride.. This ride... Its been like 6 hours since i was on it, and i am still feeling the adrenaline and shake from the airtime hills. (I was front row, friends chickened out and went in back row, they missed out!)
the first time i went on this, i said more profanities then i ever have in the span of 2 minutes, tears were literately streaming down my face by the end of it
I kept saying "Superman! Ride of Steel!" along with the voice in the station. Here's a fact: it's the same voice actor as Tansit from Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
I don't know why amusement parks don't make 360 degree POVs of the rides and then project them on surround screens in a room with chairs that move in sync with the video and market those as rides. There would be fewer accidents and therefore lawsuits.
It would be nice to have an official pov for all of the rides
Not after the Joker's Jinx POV they just released.
@@appalachianenthusiast9499 it is faster
very underrated ride, this is very fun and even though it has a lot of straight track it still is intense
There is definitely something to be said for a ride that covers a lot of ground while giving you a moment to look around. Beautiful ride.
…boring asl. I’d rather Jokers jinx
@@JayOhhTheKingSuperman ride of steel is so overrated, Batman better, Riddler's revenge better 💀

Do more mounted POV’s of your coasters like this this is top notch
This is one of my favorite roller coasters at the park
not saying much
Me to:0
awesome video of your superman : ride of steel - ate six flags america !!!!
This ride takes up so much more space than it should
It's the speed.
It’s actually more enjoyable than riding a quick 1 minute coaster that looks like a giant knot trying to save space in the park
@@stevent3239 It's just because its Six Flags America. Mid tier coaster lineups make rides like this look way more boring than they actually are.
This is a great ride, but an Rocky Mountain construction conversion of Roar would be better
It would just be a Clone of the joker at sfdk unless Alan schilke comes up with a new layout
That and even a raptor like jersey devil focusing more in inversions would also be great
@@matthewsouthwell9653 I mean joker isn’t that bad (mostly because I only have 40 credits so I don’t have anything to compare it with besides SFMM and CGA) but I mean I would not mind it being a clone
Any rmc at this peak would be great
the second air time hill made me feel like i was actually flying. there may be better rides out there but this is still amazing
I’m going on this ride for my chorus concert! I’m so excited

Glad to see I’m not crazy with my opinions 😂
Honestly, I rank Superman above Skyrush
I rode in the front row and it felt like I was Superman, flying fluid and free! This and Joker's Jinx were my favourite rides there!!
Defenetly my favorite ride at SFA
GREAT QUALITY

Funny enough back row is the scariest row that’s where it’s rough but you get a lot of airtime
@@matthewgaull3185 I went in back row too, i feel like it was slower... (and couldnt see shit all i saw were some peoples backs)
Interesting. The one at Darien Lake goes the opposite way.
Intamin has sure come a long way
My favorite ride
Can you guys please upload an official POV of Batwing before you guys remove it?
Timber Wolf Aaron i second this
didn’t age well
OH YEAH. STRAIGHT TRACK WOOOOO

Great ride
I went on this coaster today and the drop(First) was extremely fast
Not faster then joker jinxs lauch
Looks good! I would like to ride it.
This was so close to bieng my home park but it is KD just 2 miles off
I thought you meant Kevin Durant because he was raised in Pg county but I now know you mean Kings dominion right, you live in Virginia,Right ?
On video the drop doesn’t look bad but in real life it’s steep
This ride has a
very easy first place
I got Here every year!
Which 6 flags is this?
Donny Baker six flags America
six flags in Maryland
Looks kinda rough and very uninspired track layout. Can anyone tell me when this coaster was built? :)
don't know but rose it yesterday and it's amazing
I was on it in 1998 or 1999. Phenomenal, speed junkie fix.
I went on it I didn’t scream
N o i c e
#rmcROAR
@RazxDifferent at discovery kingdom yeah, but not SFA
ive been on it
ive been on it twice
Ik
Man, if that thing slowed down too much it would never finish that course.
How is no one screaming
It’s probably a test ride because if you look closer you’ll see that no one is at the park

Nyoom
I heard that this ride is 200 km/h. Is it true?
I'm not sure about kmh but it goes 75 mph
Ripoff
The Superman at sfne is better

Because there is no way to replicate the forces sustained on a roller coaster
Yeah because accidents happen all the time and screens in a room would be the exact same effect as an actual rollercoaster.
Ride doodoo colors worse
Not going to lie that ride looked weak.
WTF?, Is a joke?
Until you get on it.
