A lot of seeds went in early stages though, due to the bar of newcomers being pretty high. Atomic, Bulldog breed and Xterminator had just improved hugely
What a shame for Spawn Again the one series where it actually worked and blew its end cap off. I asked why this happened in a Facebook group called Roaming Robots and apparently their flipper was a modified low pressure ram running on high pressure settings and the end cap was reinforced and it blew off.

Spawn Again could've still done something in the heat final if it hadn't speared itself into the wall having missed the pit release button. Darren's driving had been a serious weakness on a number of occasions...
Now This is interesting top bot is the only undercutter in this war zone but it lost in its first round but it put great show so I'll look forward to what the are going to make next

@@PelemusMcSoy Well that was the basis of a control bot. Think of Panic Attack, its forks were hardly capable of doing any direct damage, its successes were entirely due to good driving. Even bots with fearsome weapons (like Carbide or Razer) had to manouvre quickly to get a hit. In fact Razer (and Snakebite apparently) owed as much of their success to their ability to trap an opponent on their ramp and drive it where they wanted, as they did to damage inflicted by their 'beak'.
