17 year BMW Restoration! e30 Cabriolet Pre-Delivery Inspection

- After 15+ years of me trying to restore my BMW e30, I handed it over to the professionals and finally its a fully functioning, and really rather lovely car! Today I am off to do a pre-delivery inspection at Classic Bahnstormers who have done some really extensive work on the car!

Oooh that really is lovely, I am not a big fan of the E30 but I always had a soft spot for the convertible (I used to have a toy one as a kid I would take everywhere with me) guess what colour it was…. Yep you have the best model/colour combo !
John, this is brilliant, what a beautifully restored car and fitting tribute to the your farther. I'm sure the old man will be looking down on you with pride......and certainly more pride than mine as I blew my inheritance on a long gone Alfa 147 Diesel, Jesus wept!
Thanks Craig! It's been an emotional rollercoaster but actually brought it home today so its now tucked away on my 4 poster and its almost as clean underneath too!! Alfa 147 is a cool little car... I might be bias but its no BMW e30! haha

That’s the one - Motronic! How’s the engine swap going on the e12? Found my old 1602 m10 rocker cover while moving workshop! Makes an amazing piece of wall art 😃
@@automotivetales slow progress due to some personal events that set me back a few days, so now I'm having to rush some jobs and skip other just to have the car ready on Thursday to be collected.

The Bentley is still awaiting the brakes to be sorted and the Rolls... well, I just need space in the garage to bring it back from storage! They are such huge cars is causing a few logistical issues! ha There will be videos over summer, but first... Le Mans!
