I play high school football and when that starts happening you’re on a whole new level a level of adrenaline and excitement
I am a running back for my high school and when we won our game the stadium went crazy
@@toasted.gamer112 That happened to me yesterday in my team Ephrata was playing Lebanon which is a city in Pennsylvania and Ephrata is a town in Pennsylvania we won 42-20 we were in Lebanon btw and after we won we were in the locker room jamming out to Colt 45 by Afro man and coach comes in and tells us he heard gunshots 2 blocks away but we got home safely all that was last night it all worked out cause I got McDonalds

Are we not going to talk about how much people are on the neon side even though they are guests😳
It’s my school we are rivals and the schools are down the street so it should always be packed
@@xavierjohn495 oh ok👌🏼
Even if they weren’t rivals, there are still schools that have an entire student section at every game. When I was in hs, our student section went to every game but one which was 11 hours away. Anything less than 5 hours, they went to. Just school pride and making the event enjoyable enough to keep people coming

What type of Harry Potter incantation are they chanting
Hypnotically what if it’s a derby match

Such wise words
I had no idea what they were saying before I read your comment. 😂
Thank you for commenting what they were saying!
This is funny. Nothing like a little friendly competition and some bleacher cheerleaders!!
Thank you for this bc I had no idea what they were chanting!
I miss high school even more now. Being a part of that crowd with friends was a different feeling 😂
Those were always my favorite type of places to play an away game at. Making them go silent is one of the most satisfying things ever
yea but this specific team hasn’t lost in three years lol😂
Easier said than done.ive been to games like that as a visiting team and you may silence them at a point but you make one mistake like a fumble or a pick and that crowd comes alive and the field shakes ,after that the game can turn on you
@@michaelmerck7576 true but if they start messing up the crowd can turn on their own team. I once walked off a teams field well the other teams student section congratulated us

We are watching someone’s peak in this video.
LMAOOOO RUDE BUT TRUE
Most NFL players say High School Football was their favorite time in life. When you play in environments like this for YOUR hometown team, nothing will ever beat it. Grow up a Bears fan then play for the Packers, just not the same.

No kidding ohiostate. What I'm saying this isn't unusual in Texas. Every school in Texas is like this every Friday night. You're acting like it's a big deal. Texas high school football is legendary and is known nation wide for that. The movie Friday Night Lights is a true story about Texas football.
Dude this is every state. Minnesota was just as crazy
Same as Minnesota hockey
@Bensker Not what he was saying
This is normal for any 4A and up school. Especially, during playoffs, homecoming, or a rival game.
This is our goal as cheerleaders. The student section is always the best. But there is always that one person who tells people to quiet down at a football game.

As someone in my schools marching band I can confirm that nights like this are epic and the student section is always hyped when we preform halftime and the pregame show that’s just the school song, the national anthem, and our hype song manhattan spiritual 😭💀❤️
My school is like this, but whenever it hits halftime and the dance line, twirlers and band play, they all go to the concession stand. It's disappointing for the band because we don't get near enough attention like the football boys do and we work so hard.
At least that's what it's like for my school.
I’m sorry about that, at our school we go fricken crazy with our band mainly the drummers. We all sit during halftime performance and then at the end the drummers come up to the student section and we go crazy until the game starts back up so hopefully your school can adopt something like that 😅
dude im so glad someone brings this up! im in band and it makes me sad that no one rlly cares abt halftime
At my school after we won state in marching band, students would watch the band, before they would chit chat and do other things and be on their phones.
The school band is about to go crazy for that game

Man these crowds need to think of some new chants because these are the same ones when I was in school and I graduated in 2010 🤣🤣🤷🏾♂️
What are they saying?
I believe that we can win 🤣🤣🤣
It’s older than 2010 my man. There’s an old video of my high school doing it in 2005(I graduated in 2015 I ain’t that old lol). I think it’s cool kids today are keeping it alive
It's been a lil while since I was in HS, but those were my fav crowds to play in front of. Always loved playing on the road more than home and especially in a raucous stadium. The only thing better than making a crowd go nuts is making them go silent 🤫
This part!!
That was my mentality
Bet you were the 2 string long snapper
Had a crowd sing Zombie Nation one time. Shutting them up was the highlight of my season. Even tho we lost that game, it was fun while it lasted. They won states tho
Same bro, home games were fun but there was nothing better than playing on the road. When you first show up they’re going crazy, then by half time it’s nothing but crickets🤣
This is one of the things that I miss so much about high school. I was in marching band for my junior and senior years of high school, and we always looked forward to the games every Friday! Oh, the memories! :) 🏈

That makes sense why there’s so many people both sides
I went to a game like this before, and literally had to stand on the side lines because me being the short 6th grader I am literally wasn’t safe in the stand anymore.
Check out "The Pit" at Elder High School. 10,000 plus seat cement bowl stadium built by students, faculty and alumni back in the 30's. They had to stop construction during WW2 and completed it in 1946 after the war . USA TODAY listed it as one of the 10 best high school football stadiums in America. It's where Kyle Rudolph went to high school. Several rivalry games are standing room only with over 11K in the stadium. That does not include the party deck and rooftops that people watch from in the surrounding neighborhood. It's certainly an experience.
I looked up Elder HS, in Cincinnati. There was a sea of purple at the games. Even more amazing is the school building. The architecture is beautiful, that was an era when buildings were designed to please the eye. Hope it never gets torn down.
i do marching band and nothings better than our student section 💀💀
I’ve had one game like this when we were against our rival school and it was so much fun definitely my favorite football game so far

There's nothing like high school football. Be in the moment and enjoy. In the snap of a finger, it's gone.
looking at these other high school homecomings makes me realize just how lame mine is
Okay…but mine was a homeschool homecoming. You think yours was bad? Imagine a few hundred homeschool kids in an aviation museum having a whole rave to We Don’t Talk About Bruno while a bunch sat on the floor in a protest. This was after the football game where, as per usual, our team lost because the defense is just always awful, we all got really confused as to why there was a band on our side when we do not have a band and turns out the other team had half of their band go over to be nice, and then our cheerleaders had the saddest halftime routine ever because the coach is one of the moms and doesn’t know how to plan the routines. Let me be clear, as a homeschooler, I’m not dissing homeschoolers, I’m just saying our homecoming game and dance were the most awkward events ever.
Nothing like the battle of Q Street. Millard kids are just different.

Coming to see my high school pop up on my timeline 5 years after I graduated is wildddddddddd
crowds so in sync they look like the crowds on wii sports😭
My school does this at the end of the game and instead of “I believe that we will win” we say”I believe that we just won”
25 years ago, every friday night in the Fall, it was like this. In junior high and high school the whole town showed up to support the youngsters in football and the band performance, the drill team, the cheerleaders, etc. We won District Champs every year. But then in the early 2000s something happened, being physically fit fell to the wayside and video games were more important. A lot has changed.
My school does this exact thing for a pep fests when we send teams to state, except it’s in the gym and everyone gets in a group in the center, high school in the middle and elementary on the outside. The student section even got nasty last year at state and chanted “I believe that we just won” when the foot ball team won the semifinal game to play at the championship. 😂
I just imagined cheerleading in front of this crowd like in my olded days.
As a high schooler band player at football games this is true
