Beautiful early morning video of a very thoroughly documented crossing! I always find that those moments before sunrise are very peaceful and pleasing to absorb and take in, and it's no exception even on what is usually a bustling pedestrian thoroughfare in Lincoln City Centre. The streets are so deserted it makes the alarms sound nice and noisy, even though they're mostly in this setting these days from what I've seen about, even at midday. Definitely one of the best videos I've seen of the crossing in recent times - thoroughly enjoyed watching this! 👍👍
Thanks very much mate 😁 I really enjoyed filming for a few hours in the early morning as it was something different and actually quite fun filming as the city woke up and got gradually busier as the sun started rising. Quite a unique site seeing the crossing completely deserted too, with very few people about. I'd quite like to do this again but it would obviously require an early start, and also at a time it isn't as cold in the morning 🥱
Thank you 😊 I don't think the barriers are that old but they are definitely active more than other crossings so I guess they need replacing more frequently than other crossing barriers
Typically on most crossings the night mode setting will begin at 23;00 - 23;30 and finish around 06;30 - 07;00. This crossing (in the video) is different and I think there's a problem with its settings. Currently it's in the night mode setting in the morning and doesn't switch settings until 14;00 in the afternoon.
Ha you think that's bad, it's worse during the day when there's loads of pedestrians on the high street. Probably not so much at the moment though because of the pandemic.
Yes, that's because Hong Kong was a British overseas territory in the 1990s so the road layout and infrastructure is quite similar to that seen in the UK

Hey Uk Level Crossings Channel Great Video And Lights And Crossings And Crossing Arms Though 😇
Nice video. That backdrop makes things good. I sure hope this crossing gets new barriers soon.
Oh, and congrats on 37K subs.

What time is it often that the night alarms start and end, and the regular alarms sound?

0:17 - it's okay, no rush! Not like there's a train coming and barriers dropping around you or anything. :P

Nice video
Thanks 😎
So peoppe just ignore the flashing lights and alarms here? That's a shame.
Yeah it's one of the worst in the country for pedestrian misuse here. It's worse during the day when there's more people about.
Nice stay safe
Thank you 🙂
Amazing Video! :)
Thank you 😁
Good video Jamie
Thank you 😁
Hey my name is jamie

The totally casual way that person just walked through the alarm, must have had headphones on. 🙄😏😆
It is quite common at this crossing. It's worse during the day.

ahhh
Corrr that was a big gap wasn't it
Do you mean the gap between barriers lowering?
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Yeah the gap between to 2 trains
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Sorry about the lack of detail in my speech
Ah yeah, this crossing is usually lowered for long periods
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Ah ok that happened 2 me @ Pinhoe once
I see signs that are similar to Hong Kong's road signs.
