To those who say it's just a stupid wrench that cost a couple of dollars... I had a 15/16" wrench I dropped and lost and found it next spring when it ruined a brand new rear tire on our 9270, and of course it was on the inside so the dual had to come off. So that "cheap tool" cost a new tire and more importantly, time we didn't have.

HA!! What a deal. It's so dry that you lose a wrench in the crack of the earth. I've planted many grease guns, wrenches, socket sets, etc. in the field by accident. Unfortunately, I never harvested any grease guns, wrenches or socket sets. HA! Ya know Mike...most people would never admit, much less film, losing an important tool in a field. I like the fact that you can laugh at your mistakes and still come out on top. You're comfortable in your own skin and that says a lot about your character. Thanks for sharing your harvest video(s) with all of us...take care and be safe.

I never get tired of looking at combine videos. I have a 1950 Massy Harris Super 26 combine sitting in its shed, waiting for restoration. I bought it from a nice retired couple in Alvena, Saskatchewan (pop. 500 or so) a few years ago. A major job as there must be around sixty worn out bearings, some of them hardwood! I just need to work less so I have the time for this project.

Two years ago I put a fan belt on a tractor that was disking, set my phone on the front tire so I wouldn't drop it and lose it. Got everything buttoned up, sent the driver on his way, phone was still on the front tire so it got ran over twice and went through both gangs of the disc. Luckily I was able to call it and it still ring, found it six inches under and not a scratch on it.

A dam on a mates farm dried up in 2019
The cracks were so wide and deep that
When rain came, it took 5 inches of rain over 2 days before the water filled the cracks and started to hold water. This dam is in a valley of gentle undulating hills and has a few hundred acres of catchment. We dropped broom handle in a crack in the pasture and our arms up past our elbows couldnt reach it.
