Your podcasts are always a lovely way to spend an hour or so. Great to see all the projects and I'm already inspired to make a Cecil after seeing and hearing how easy it is to wear. I love the Lady Violet sweater too but not sure if My skills are up to that yet, more sweater practice is needed. My bank balance won't thank you....but I do! Looking forward to the next one 😊
You are absolute artisans! Those floats!💗
😊 thank you
So glad your grandma is ok, what a tough lady she is!
Another great podcast, the knits are stunning! It’s awful being hot when you want to wear your knits (I can relate)
Hoping to come to Unravel this year, as I missed it last year! x
Lykke are excellent!!
Thank you for your comment - I’ve added them to the website 💖
Fiona, sorry you’re not happy with your Halibut, I was so looking forward to seeing it and it is beautiful. This is a random suggestion but, if it’s also too big, could you steek it and make it into an outdoor jacket? Will get back to watching rest of podcast now!
Oh good thinking Celia! That’s an excellent idea!!
Such a clever idea...!
Fiona your halibut sweater is so beautiful, what about turning it into a poncho?
You read my mind dawn I was thinking it would be gorgeous as a poncho too. So sorry to hear about your Nan sending hugs x
This is such a good idea thanks for sharing!
Omg I love your Halibut sweater, can you not undone the split for the sleeves & make it into a one piece capelet? Like the Corrie Poncho you showcased! So happy to find you girls ❤ Susannah
Awh thank you 💖
You both have some amazing knitting projects, the Halibut sweater is fabulous. Thank you ladies I love seeing everything is show xx
Awh thank you Sharon 💖
Loved the first podcast of 2024. Such lovely projects and plans for the year ahead . Sophie the collar is stunning! Can I ask if Mel is still with Botanical yarn? Missed seeing her on the channel…
Hello Sarah, thanks for your comment, Mel has moved on to another company, we wish her the best!
Awww! I love my 2023 Advent & am looking forward to 2024! Wildflowers is such a personally meaningful theme to me and I am so excited to see it all come together! 🎉❤ I love all the knits you showed on today’s episode and am excited to see all the makes we all created in 2024! One of the ones on my list is the Autumn Alpine using the bright pink kit from your site! 💖
aw thank you so much! We're so excited about the wildflower advent - I'm about to start dyeing the sample to send to Veera soon 💖 Oh yay the autumn alpine is such a great pattern, Fiona was just saying yesterday that she loved making the Alpine Bloom tee, she loved the process of knitting it! 💖
I love all Fiona's knitted items - she's so talented. Definitely finish the Halibut jumper, somebody will get a lot of pleasure out of wearing it. It's a work of art... the shawl is stunning too. ❤
Thank you Karen that’s so kind of you! Yes good thinking
I would love to see what’s on those hangers…the colors are gorgeous and you are amazing knitters 💕
thank you so much for your comment - we shall film a podcast unveiling all the samples! 💖
I love the last shawl you showed but I don’t see it listed in the notes… would you tell me what it is😊@@botanicalyarn
Oh do you mean this one, the Cecil shawl?

Yes beautiful💕@@botanicalyarn
The halibut sweater would make a great poncho?
So immediately booked my hotel in Saugerties for cake and Rhinebeck when you said you were vending. I hope chiagoo comes out with singles of their new needles to give them a try.
Oh yay that’s so exciting!!! We’re counting down already 🥳
Is there much difference between Lady Violet and the Amy Christoffers Felix pattern?
I’m at EXACTLY the same point with my halibut as well. I’m knitting mine out of handspun. The yoke is ridiculously long and it’s so thick 😢. I love the colourwork but I think I’m going to have to frog
Oh no! It’s such a shame isn’t it 😢 I love the design but I’m just not sure I would wear it as the fabric is so thick and the yoke so long. If I ever get the time it would be interesting to see if I could convert the pattern to use 4ply 😬.
Oh that’s such a shame!! Do you think you’ll
make the cowl instead?
Could you pass your Halibut to your husband maybe?
Ooh good thinking!
