LOL - you know you need to at least give it a look. We were surprised at how low pricing can be or at least, at the right dealership. Merry Christmas! 🎅
Yeah really. I see the deals evaporating while I try no to be overly annoying, while bugging my wife. She was on board before and I was hunting for deals, but now she has decided there is such thing as us having too many vehicles already.
I wanted to buy a gladiator last year but didn’t want to take on $60k+ in debt. Ended up with a Nissan Frontier instead. I love it but it is tempting to get a gladiator, I’m gonna do the $$ wise move and pay off my truck and keep it.
Eddie, the great deals on new '23 Gladiators forced used prices down, too. I'm going to pick up a used 2022 Gladiator High Altitude with only 6,000 miles tomorrow morning. The High Altitude has every creature comfort plus the wide M210 and M220 44s, but will still need lockers, suspension, etc., to make it off-road capable. If I could have afforded it, I would have done what you did, but this deal was too good for me to pass up.
Hey Phil, long time no see! Sounds like you'll be getting a great deal and congratulations to you on getting a Gladiator. I think you're gonna love it 👍
I've never owned one, so it will be interesting. I didn't like to go begging my neighbors for a pickup every time I wanted to haul tires, etc., around. Mine will be a mild build with no more than 35" tires. I'll be watching what you do with yours!
@@philhowell4607 Totally get it. Being that we already have one running DTD's, trailing arms and on 42's, we definitely will be keeping this one on the mild side - something more useful as a truck, just as you're wanting to do with yours. We'll probably run 37's but only because we like how it "looks" with them than anything. But, even with the factory 33's, it's been super functional already.
Congratulations on your new Gladiator although I hate to see the 2 door go. You showed what a stock Wrangler is capable of, even with stock tires. Have a great Holiday season and may next year be a great one for you and Cindy.
Congrats guys, looking forward to following along on this one. I did the same exact thing just last week. Traded my TRX for a Gladiator Rubicon, so with the deals on those plus my equity in the truck, I got it almost out the door with no cost. Most will think I'm crazy but they aren't living my life lol. TRX was fun but I'm saving a ton every month and will build this Gladiator to my heart's content. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I have over 60k miles in my Rubicon Gladiator with a manual. We got $5600 off in the summer of 2021…the last day of August. It’s been rock solid and it did double duty not only getting me to work but converting a barn into a home. It hauled everything with a bed extension I used at times. Enjoy!!
Assuming you actually had death wobble, this as opposed to just a really bad shimmy in the steering wheel, I would have your dealership look at it especially being that it's new. Death wobble is always a symptom of a loose or worn out steering or suspension component.
I'm pretty sure... and the "wobble" I won't call it death can be "triggered" by different things but is a in reality a function primarily of a solid axle design and an issue, triggered by peripheral components triggering a design flaw that is intrinsic to the solid axle. But, that axle is also intrinsic to the advantages an capabilities of a Jeep so, there are trade offs between things like reciprocating power steering vs rack and pinion and a solid axle vs and independent suspension. This kind of thing is a potential issue... It goes in as soon as it can and will be diligently documented with ONLY a dealership addressing it so the paper and work trail are clearly not "blamable" upon me. It had 41 miles on it when I picked it up. So, far, I drove it from the dealer lot to my driveway with stops for gas. It now has 496 miles on it. Most likely it was either a bad part, tires, or bad factory install not appropriately or in accordance with specs installation would be my guess. And since it has so few miles on it chasing it down should be much easier than one with thousands of miles and experiences to confuse the situation. @@wayalife

@wayalife thank you. After seeing your video where you were towing your utility trailer around, we went and bought our selves a 2023 Gladiator Willy's in the Hydro Blue Pearl colour. We love everything about it and where she's been able to take us. We aren't rock crawlers or overlanders but we are certainly off roaders: ) thanks again for all of the great content in your videos...

Awesome! Agree that there are some great deals right now! We almost bought our Gladiator there last year but instead went with the Lithia Jeep dealership in Medford… and we live in Indiana!
Congrats! Glad this dealer did you right, unlike like the other one you posted about a few days ago. Merry Christmas to you as well! Now excuse me, I'm off to go check Gladiator listings in my area.
I bought my Gladiator there. Took us 2 days to get the deal we wanted. 1st night we walked out cause getting late and didnt came to an agreement on the pricing and finance option. Called in 2nd day morning to see if they want to negotiate again, they said "yeah come pick up your Gladiator". On a side note I was trying to get a loan from Tesla on Model 3 Performance (Wells Fargo) and they asked me for 30k down. I was able to get approved 3500 down with low interest from Lithia. They are 100% trying to sell vehicle there instead of baiting on outrages prices and sky high down/interest. I highly recommend them.
Howdy Wayalife 👋🏻 Really hoping you see this comment… I’m currently having the exact issue you had with Pippi, and it’s one you posted on your forum back in 2021… Mystery Leak where the bell housing mates to the transmission (I created a forum account, but I currently have “insufficient privileges” to comment). My 2022 Willys (2-door, manual) is pretty much configured as your late Pippi, and I’m bringing it to the stealership. Anyways, I’m curious if what the dealership did for you (the leak was coming from the 2 transmission bolts and they were removed, cleaned, and sealed) ended up being the solution. Also, this is long overdue because I have learned so much from your videos… Subscribed! 🤙🏻
Not sure what happened but I just manually approved your account on the forum. Glad your dealership was able to fix your leak. I'm pretty sure that's what they did to Pippi as well. Glad to hear you enjoy our videos too 😎
Thanks for the forum approval 👍🏻 Also, I’ve only scheduled an appointment, so I haven’t had my issue resolved yet. I just wanted to make sure what the dealership did to fix your leak was the way to go, as you initially thought it may be an input shaft leak! Anyway, have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Honestly, I don't know if they actually fixed anything but making a record and a paper trail of it at the dealership is the single best thing you can do, IF something were to go wrong in the future.
Awww man...as a 2-door Sport owner, I really enjoyed your Pippi videos and will miss her! However, I totally understand why you had to trade her in, and glad you scored a great deal. Congrats!
I literally just did this - i am now back to owning a '23 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon (My previous was a Willys Gladiator). You would have to be a fool to pass this up - it rarely happens.
Couldn’t agree more. I wasn’t really ready to get a new car. But couldn’t turn down the deal. I don’t need a rubicon. I don’t see myself going crawling or anything. I ended up with the High Altitude model. I loved the color matched trim. And the 20” wheels look nice. Dealer offered about 5000 off plus the 15% rebate. All in about 13000 off sticker. Crazy deal. My list of wants so far is the sunrider for hardtop, diamondback tonneau, spray in liner, taser mini, aux switch retrofit, and some Mickey Thompson Baja tires.
3+ years into owning our 2020 Launch Edition rolling on Mopar factory lift and 37” Nittos. Love her so much can’t imagine getting life without her. She just welcomed her garage mate home, a AEVJL370 392, and it’s about the perfect pairing ❤
Nice! I just got a fully loaded 2024 Willys for 39K. Feels like theres more leg room up front. I had a 21 Willys. BUt this one feels like theres more leg clearance under the wheel. I think the seats went back or some bs. I just has a little more leg room. I could be wrong but! I had the same two models and trim.
Also at jeep reno lithia, 3 weeks ago, same white scored on RARE deal brand new 2023 rubicon gladiator $52k BUT with EcoDiesel 😜 my dream jeep for sure!!!
I myself just got a great deal on a 2022 leftover Gladiator Rubicon yes that is a 2022 with only 40 miles on it when I took it for a test drive. Yes we did have to fight with the Bank over it not being a used jeep to get lower rate but we did get some good deals. I should do some videos over the pros and cons over buying a year and half old leftover because there are some both ways.
I did the same thing. I flew from California to Utah picked up the color I wanted Rubicon gladiator eco-diesel in high velocity. I have a lot of options and even the trail cam in the front which is awesome. I found the one I wanted and up there in Utah. They gave me 22% off of MSRP. This is a permanent truck until I die. The eco-diesel is incredible. Enjoy your new truck.
We just bought one in November around Veterans Day. We choose a Willys for less money then a 2 door Wrangler. My husband traded his Ford Maverick. We had to do it because the deals they giving were just to good to pass up. We love Jeeps! The Maverick was just not what we wanted?
I am about to do the same. I waited specifically to the week I am off for the holidays. It’s the end of the year, hoping the dealers will be able to get me in a Gladiator Rubicon. Thanks for enforcing this in my mind. 😁✌🏽
It was a hard decision for us to make but Pippi was just fun and what we really need a truck that can help out around the ranch. And yes, I do see an end to ICE coming sooner than later.
@@wayalife well if it makes you feel any better I sold my 2021 two-door Rubicon for a Toyota Tacoma, Trd, off-road and really hated the truck. I traded it in on a 2024 Rubicon extreme recon package! I love it but I still do miss my little two door! They are very impractical, but so fun to drive! in the end, I am very grateful to have my new Jeep! Congratulations and merry Christmas! 🎄
I bought my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon in June and got a pretty good deal at about 8 grand off MSRP, I probably should have waited but I wanted it when I wanted it. Love my truck!
I got a 2023 Rubicon Gladiator last Saturday, "Punk'n" orange color. Got about 18k off on it. I couldn't pass it up. Traded in my 2023 Taco for it. LED package and tow package... first Jeep. Like it a lot so far.
I was really hoping you got the diesel. I will never part with mine and as they are discontinued, it’ll likely hold its value for a very long time MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Sorry, we already have a Duramax for when we really need to tow big. We just needed a smaller truck for jobs that don't require it. Merry Christmas to you as well 🎅
As a gladiator owner, I totally approve of your dog play. (And your jeep purchase) We’ve got the 21 rubi eco diesel, it’s great. Can’t wait to see what mods get installed!
Well, congrats on the new truck. I will miss Pippy, as I have the same JL in red in a Sport S. I have been watching all the Pippy videos as I upgrade my own vehicle. Thanks for all your great videos👍👍👍
Thank you and we're glad that you enjoyed our Pippi series. It was hard to let her go but in the end, she was a lot of fun and what we really needed was something useful. Merry Christmas! 🎅
I bought a 2023 Gladiator sport s in May. I got a hell of a deal. Sticked out at 52 grand, with the discounts and actually gave me alot more in trade for 2021 Renegade than I thought. 35K. No dealer addons etc.
I'm putting a 4.5" Evo Manufacturing fusion lift on my Gladiator! Coilovers up front, springs in the rear to maintain factory towing! Actually got the full lift kit on a Black Friday sale. Now just to get it installed! 🙌
I have adaptive cruise control and generally don't like how it works. I rarely use it. And when I do it ends up not being on for very long. Have it, don't use it. Wouldn't miss it in the next vehicle if not equiped. Looks like a great deal!
Love the videos and truly excited for what's to come with the new ride! I also took advantage of the crazy deals and grabbed a 23 Rubicon in Sting Grey with almost the SAME exact options as yours (except my fenders are black and no Aux switches). Happy Holidays!
Got myself a Willy’s in November and absolutely love it! Wish i did get the LED lights but you can’t be a chooser with these great deals jeep is offering.
Perfect video !!! We all know already that you can't be beat on the quality informative videos you put out but this one hit home !! I live justv outside Pittsburgh Pa. And i had to dov the same thing lol. Traded my JLU in on a very similar Gladiator and the deal !!! I got 20% !!!! a Hydro blue color matched Rubicon with everything you got minus the Aux swithes but ill be adding them in a week lol. Got just under 3k over my payoff plus the 20% I SOLD THIS THING !!! as you build your ill be building mine & based off your other builds i know we'll be doing close to the same mods at close to the save time. Thank you for all you do & teach and please Have a safe MERRY CHRISTMAS BUDZ OH ! I GOTTA GET ANOTHER WAY OF LIFE DECAL but this one needs to be big !!!
They've had big discounts for the past few months. I really wanted to buy a new one because of that but couldn't find a max tow equipped how I wanted. Luckily the new discounts drive the used prices down and I got a great deal on a low mileage max tow. Congrats on your purchase!
Headliner is great for summers. My old JK blacktop didn't have a liner and I could feel the heat radiating down on me until the AC could cool off the interior. Don't feel it at all now with my Mojave with the headliner
There are a ton of leftovers. They marked the price up like 20% after 21 and they stopped selling. I did upgrade to a 23 Mojave but I’m kinda kicking myself
I was a viewer of Pippy videos because I have a 2-door JL and your how to videos are very helpful. Sad to see her go. Gone but not forgotten, fly high Pippy 🕊️
It was a hard decision for us to make being that we loved her but a truck is really what we needed in our day to day life. Hope you can be understanding.
@@wayalife oh I totally understand! Would’ve done the same thing in a heartbeat! I’m still watching any videos you post, that way when I have my future gladiator or 4-door, I can remember what videos to refer back to!
@@waqarhabib8003 If you're in the Reno NV area, I would recommend Lithia. Ask for Ashton Baker. He's the salesman that helped us and if you would be so kind let him know that we sent you :)
Congrats! My local Lithia Jeep dealer has been great to deal with over the years with actual discounts listed on their website, so I'm glad to hear the dealer in Reno is the same way. Thinking about moving from my Mojave to one of the '23 Rubicon diesels that are coming in. They're stacked deep with inventory, so great time to buy.
@@Lee392-kr6xh we did not. As much as we love diesels and would have loved to have gotten one, the tow rating on it is 1000 lbs less than a 3.6L. Also, we weren't feeling too comfortable about a discontinued engine that had only been out for 3 years and with known problems to the fuel system.
Yes, it does make one wary on the diesel and longevity. I'm looking at some at my local dealer MSRP $77,270 (whew!) that I'm being offered at $63,500 total out the door. Quite tempting, decisions decisions. @@wayalife
Yes, all the issues make me wary of the diesel but looked at some locally for sale anyway. The MSRP on the "Farout" versions on the lot are $77,270 🤑but after a couple of days of negotiations they offered $63,500 total out the door inclusive of all fees and sales tax. So now I'm considering purchasing one but it is a diesel! 😬Decisions decisions!@@wayalife
They are selling them below MSRP because of all the recalls. Especially the diesel as the fuel pump will destroy itself due to being made out of cheap materials. Several of my diesel jeep friends were told from the dealers they are under a nationwide supply chain issue on getting the fuel pumps replaced and a dealer is luck to receive 1 per week. SO That covers the diesel side of jeep issues.
I don't know about that. Seems to me that it's more because the refresh that's coming for 2024 model Gladiators. But, to your point, the diesel problem is legit and repairs are costing about $11k and it is why we specifically chose NOT to buy one, even though it would have been what we wanted. Worse, the engine was discontinued and only after 3 years. I can't see that as being a good thing.
I’m with Brother, couldn’t turn down $17,450 off Ar Rubicon gladiator, mine ended up having the 3.0 diesel which I love. God bless and good luck.
Congratulations to you!

My list of wants so far is the sunrider for hardtop, diamondback tonneau, spray in liner, taser mini, aux switch retrofit, and some Mickey Thompson Baja tires.
Congratulations to you!
Love your videos. Let’s see a Jeep collection tour or shop tour soon!
Thank you and I suppose it's been a while since we've done a tour of our Jeeps. I'll see what we can do.
Love it! Excited to see what’s to come! Hopefully give me some ideas for my 2024 JLU build!
Awesome! Hope to share more as soon as we can.
3+ years into owning our 2020 Launch Edition rolling on Mopar factory lift and 37” Nittos. Love her so much can’t imagine getting life without her. She just welcomed her garage mate home, a AEVJL370 392, and it’s about the perfect pairing ❤
Oh no, there's no reason to get rid of what you have. We didn't :)
@@wayalifeneither did we, love ‘em both! Congrats on the new ride 👍🏻
I literally just bought a 2023 gladiator mojave yesterday. It was such a good deal I had no plan of buying one but could not pass it up
Congratulations to you!
Nice pickup, I just recently got a new 2024 Willys 4 door with the extreme recon package and im loving it
Congratulations to you!
I sure enjoyed watching you play with your dog🙂
LOL - glad to hear you enjoyed seeing Ripley and I having some fun :)
I hope you had a Great Christmas! Nice!
Thank you, we did and hope you had the same 😎
That bourbon behind the bar though…we need a video on that!!!!
LOL - glad to see there are others out there who can appreciate a good bourbon! I may just have to do that some time 😁
Have a Merry Christmas!! 🎄 and Congratulations on your New Gladiator! 🍻🍻🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅
Congratulations to you
Also at jeep reno lithia, 3 weeks ago, same white scored on RARE deal brand new 2023 rubicon gladiator $52k BUT with EcoDiesel 😜 my dream jeep for sure!!!
Congratulations to you!
Great presentation and video editing. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you. We're happy that you enjoyed our video and hope to bring you more soon.
Nice! Congratulations!
We just bought one in November around Veterans Day. We choose a Willys for less money then a 2 door Wrangler. My husband traded his Ford Maverick. We had to do it because the deals they giving were just to good to pass up. We love Jeeps! The Maverick was just not what we wanted?
Congratulations to you!
Merry Christmas always enjoy watching you. Congratulations on a great purchase.
Thank you! We really do appreciate it and Merry Christmas! 🎅
I am about to do the same. I waited specifically to the week I am off for the holidays. It’s the end of the year, hoping the dealers will be able to get me in a Gladiator Rubicon. Thanks for enforcing this in my mind. 😁✌🏽
Best of luck to you in finding what you're wanting.
Very smart purchase! We may just be seeing the last of our beloved, naturally aspirated V6 engine, Rubicons!
Congratulations to you on your new Rubicon! Merry Christmas! 🎅
I bought my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon in June and got a pretty good deal at about 8 grand off MSRP, I probably should have waited but I wanted it when I wanted it. Love my truck!
Congratulations and the best time to buy is whenever you can. Merry Christmas! 🎅
Congrats on the new jeep! I am sad to see pipi go, I based my 2024 purchase off it, 2 dr red, base sport. Excited to see what you do with this one :)
We were sad to see her go too. Glad you're still excited to see what we do with this one.
A neighbor just bought a new 2023 Rubicon gladiator. The factory MSRP on it was 66K, he ended up paying 46K plus tax and license. Heck of a deal.
That's awesome and about what we paid too.
Congrats! I’m planning to pick one up Thursday too! Can’t pass up these crazy prices
Awesome and congratulations! Merry Christmas 🎅
Merry Christmas Eddie and Cindy!
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you :)
I just paid $10,000 under MSRP on my 392 XR.
Congratulations to you!
Brand new but it’s a 2023. It was at the dealership for 310 days, so they were ready to let it go.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you both 🥳🎉
Thank you and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well.
I got a 2023 Rubicon Gladiator last Saturday, "Punk'n" orange color. Got about 18k off on it. I couldn't pass it up. Traded in my 2023 Taco for it. LED package and tow package... first Jeep. Like it a lot so far.
Awesome, congratulations to you!
was offered 30% off MSRP on a 23 Rubicon in firecracker. I almost purchased it, but at 6'5 I went with a 23 F-150 (got 15% off MSRP)
Gladiator blowout again for the 2024!! This time 20% plus dealer discount. I may need to make a move.
Sounds like a hell of a good deal
Yep. Just picked one up.
Congratulations to you!
Merry Christmas to you and your family !!
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎅
I got one, too! 18% off, book value on my trade. Good to go!
Congratulations to you!
congratulations on the gladiator! i have a 2 door jl and was very excited to see you build your 2 door. a bit sad to see it gone
Thank you and we are sad to see her go as well. In the end, she was fun but what we really need is something useful.
😂 strong finish, with the killer dog...🏁
LOL - happy to hear you enjoyed seeing Ripley 😁
I was really hoping you got the diesel.
I will never part with mine and as they are discontinued, it’ll likely hold its value for a very long time
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Sorry, we already have a Duramax for when we really need to tow big. We just needed a smaller truck for jobs that don't require it. Merry Christmas to you as well 🎅
There’s a loaded 22 JTRD with a new fuel pump near me for 45k. That’s 4k less than my overland diesel was.
Yo this is crazy!!! I just got a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon (black) today, same deal from Lithia in Santa Fe, NM.
Congratulations to you!
As a gladiator owner, I totally approve of your dog play. (And your jeep purchase)
We’ve got the 21 rubi eco diesel, it’s great. Can’t wait to see what mods get installed!
LOL - awesome and thank you. Merry Christmas! 🎅
Traded in my 20 Overland on a 23 JTR. I had to jump on it.
Congratulations to you 👍
Thanks for the vid. Just checked Autotrader and there are 4000 of these 2023 JT’s for sale across the country. That’s a lot. Prices will drop more 🙂
Like I said, great deals to be had 👍
Awesome and congratulations to you!
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! 🎅
I'm putting a 4.5" Evo Manufacturing fusion lift on my Gladiator! Coilovers up front, springs in the rear to maintain factory towing! Actually got the full lift kit on a Black Friday sale. Now just to get it installed! 🙌
Congratulations to you! Merry Christmas! 🎅
@@wayalife Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎅 Really looking forward to this build! Thank you for all the fun and entertainment! 🙌
I have adaptive cruise control and generally don't like how it works. I rarely use it. And when I do it ends up not being on for very long. Have it, don't use it. Wouldn't miss it in the next vehicle if not equiped. Looks like a great deal!
I tend to agree with you and thanks!
MERRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR
Merry Christmas to you and hope you have a happy New Year as well 👍
Love the videos and truly excited for what's to come with the new ride! I also took advantage of the crazy deals and grabbed a 23 Rubicon in Sting Grey with almost the SAME exact options as yours (except my fenders are black and no Aux switches). Happy Holidays!
Awesome and congratulations to you!
Got myself a Willy’s in November and absolutely love it! Wish i did get the LED lights but you can’t be a chooser with these great deals jeep is offering.
Awesome and congratulations! Merry Christmas! 🎅
We love our Gladiator. Can not wait to see how you build this one. Merry Christmas to you guys.
Awesome and glad to hear it 😎
Perfect video !!! Thank you for all you do & teach and please Have a safe MERRY CHRISTMAS BUDZ
OH ! I GOTTA GET ANOTHER WAY OF LIFE DECAL but this one needs to be big !!!
Truly humbled that you would say as much, thank you and we hope you have a very Merry Christmas 🎅
Merry Christmas to you too 😊
Thank you :)
Congratulations Eddie and Cindy!!!
Thank you, we really do appreciate it and Merry Christmas! 🎅
They've had big discounts for the past few months. I really wanted to buy a new one because of that but couldn't find a max tow equipped how I wanted. Luckily the new discounts drive the used prices down and I got a great deal on a low mileage max tow.
Congrats on your purchase!
Awesome! Congratulations to you :)
I just bought a 2023 Sarge Green Mojave this past Sat after watching this video! "CRAZY GOOD DEAL"
I painted the white on my roof to black. I also have black headliners. This makes the roof look “finished” compared to the white
@adamc2451 LOL - awesome. We appreciate it :)
I got 30% off the Rubicon I got 2 months ago. It was like 18k off sticker.
That's awesome! Congratulations to you and Merry Christmas! 🎅
30% is an awesome deal. Congrats on yours. Can you recommend a dealership? I am buying next week.
Glad to hear your Lithia is good too.
Did you by chance pick up a diesel yet? Farout?
Yup, got a great deal on a 392 at Reno Lithia 🎉
Awesome! Congratulations :)
Happy holidays!! I admire your genuine and honest videos. Also looking forward to the gladiator content to come!
Truly humbled that you would say as much and glad to know you enjoy our videos. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.
