Think they added tempo change to Mimic for sliced loops? This would end the need for recycle. 13 doesn't look remotely $199 worthy at all. Especially when you have VSTs like the cherry audio collection and DIVA and other u-he stuff. Hope they got some other tricks up their sleeves cuz browser/sequencer improvements aren't enough.
I dont know about tempo change in Mimic, I think a important update to that sampler would be a easier way to get rid of clicks and pops. I agree that they need to be doing more then what they are currently saying. Did You see My latest vid talking about how they need to do stem separation? True Polytone sound has been done by many brands already.
Reason 13 is coming in June 2024 with new sequencer features, expanded sound banks and five new rack devices including a retro Synth and a new effects device. The search tool and sequencer has been significantly changed for faster and more efficient editing of audio and midi, but is this the update people have been asking for? Lets take a look at Reasons website and find out what Reason 13 is all about.
Ok I'm excited to see your Reason videos for the new software release! I love your vids, and love hearing all the new DAW features. I started with Reason 3, I still have my Reason jumper. IS it called a jumper? A sweatshirt? I 'm American, and I'm trying to blend in hahaha much love
Well I'm not 100% sure I will upgrade yet, all depends what happens after the Bata testing, I am on the fence if I want to sighn up or not. I have several videos on the way one about what I want 13 to have, I definitely want stem separation.
I like how Repley sounds however Im currently working on a video that shows many of those sounds in the demo on there website, already exist with there other synths and effects or from there REs or by 3rd party REs.
The new area edit mode, looks really dumb, cause it adds nothing. A simple press: CTRL + E to enter and exit, and the user is 'back on track'. The piano keys are still vertical, instead of horizontal which would make way more easier to know what one is playing or know which notes are inserted, nobody plays piano sideways; unless you're a stuntman on the piano. Learning hotkeys of the program could help improve one's workflow and efficiency.
Search left of screan was fine, function wise, took up no space when collapsed, so not sure why they have made it a floating window now. Piano rolls orientation is vertical because that is how all piano rolls funtion bassed off of paper roll with holes cut in sequence to trigger notes to play on a self playing piano. Midi is a digital form of a paper piano roll playing notes in sequence from left to right hence the name "Piano roll sequencer".
@@jonathanterol4528 Well thats like asking why 4 wheels is better then 3 or 6 wheels on a motorcar. Yes a car can be made with 3 or 6 wheels but but the original, first and most practically way was 4 wheels because before enginess existed carts pulled by houses mostly used 4 wheels.
@@BSTYLEE2024 The piano vertical corresponds with the notes being played from left to right start to finish on the sequencer and is how nearly all editing on physical and digital media has been done. This includes video editing, both digital and physical film, video tape, CDs, books and all digital media starts left to right even youtube so why should the Midi in a DAW be any different? The midi in the sequencer takes priority over the vertical piano to the left otherwise the notes would be vertical which makes no sence from editing something from start, middle to the end. Ofcourse there are apps that do have the piano horizontal and notes go down but this makes sence for a piano playing app where the piano takes priority over the piano notes.
@HOLLASOUNDS living in the piano roll means your late. Give us options at the bottom so we can listen and play, and save to any instrument. Period! Piano rolls kills flows! FL STUDIO kills me with all that stuff nested, then you do. Instrument rack from start.
If Only One Could Open Insert Plugins on a Mixer Channel. Like every other daw on the Planet. How have they even made it this far without it, makes no sense.
If only all other daws had built in SSL emulated channel strips 😊. And the amazing easy controls for send/return effects. Without having to open loads of windows.

I'm excited for the update, it's going to be sick.
@@DR.KRYOVAK We shall see, but Im definitely glad to see they are working on making 13.
They keep adding plugins and retro devices that nobody ever uses. It's pointless to continue adding.
@@dj2bklyn I have My go to's to do effects I like to do, and that is done with some of Reason's oldest devices like M Class EQ for filter sweaps.

I still have my Reason long-sleeve baseball style tee shirt but I've drank about 3000 beers since I bought it and I'm too fat to wear it anymore.
British say Jumper, Americans say Sweater.
stem supersaturation, multi midi channels and video player
I do actually feel a Video player would be useful in Reason.
@@HOLLASOUNDS my beef. Is multi MIDI channel ability for? VST plugins that have more than one channel.
What about putting them in a Combinator?
I like Ripley, also would love some of those new Rex loops, not sure If I would tag my sounds (Maybe)...Overall I think this will be a great update

Ripley is the AI from war games 2, it was a stinker of a movie
I think they called it Ripley after Alien Movie.
COMING. M. MMMMMM
Yep I spelled it with 2 Ms and didn't even notice it was wrong, Im Dyslexic.
Big up.....man im upset about it 😅
I'm looking forward to hear what you think about it. I'll be checking your channel for your video.
I hope its compatible with my old Mac OS
Not sure, Im a windows user.
I clicked because I love soy face thumbnails
Do You like the white or should I put an image or colour behind it?

Reason's main mixer is bassed off of the function of real hardware and functions like that with a set of rules.
