This is an Influencer Video, right? And the reason why we all cannot still buy this product. Thanks.
Are you OK?
@@wernerlehmann8264 Publishing a video with a beta test unit is the reason that you can‘t buy it?
Are you aware that the preorder is available?
Sounds rather like a Korg Modwave with the excellent free patches & samples that Ian Dixon makes available on his TH-cam channel. Of course the Behringer doesn't have a KAOSS pad, a Motion Sequencer or 32-voice polyphony. Still, it's a nice blue colour and it has big buttons.
Modwave is just a raspberry pi vst controller, digital filter etc
@@JamesCorbettMusic5000 ... along with a KAOSS pad, a Motion Sequencer and 32-voice polyphony. What is the Behringer Wave but a set of electronic components just like any other synth? It's how they're put together, the elegance of the design, how good the instrument is to use and what sounds it makes that count. I've nothing against the Wave, but the immediate delight over it before it has been properly assessed and reviewed is not sensible. I suggest waiting for a Sound on Sound review. After all, the SoS review of the Modwave pointed out its then-lack of free-running LFOs that put me off buying one for years. Korg, thankfully, eventually put out a substantial firmware update which corrected that error and made it an even better instrument all round.
@@JamesCorbettMusic5000 I've read rumors about that. Has anyone opened it up to verify?
Depends on how close you want to get to the PPG. The modwave is a really good synth but no comparison when it comes to PPG flavours.
It’s a PPG reissue.
Without Behringer we were busted..😍
reminds me of an e-mu emax
Low-fi is good sometimes.
@@SnaFOo75 Emax was a lot of fun…and easy to use and sample with. It would be nice if some modern gear used the same simplicity ethos when making new stuff.
?...That's like saying a DX7 reminds you of a Minimoog.
@@smacloopy4029 No, the ugly digital artifacts that are sometimes very pleasing.
@@mitchelstephen7536 yep. that"s what I meant. sorry lol
