you can totally see the difference between the daniels and the jacoje pieces. In my experience karats lower than 18k are weird when it comes to colours in the sense they really can vary a lot. I’ve had 9ct yellow gold pieces in the past that look like 18k yellow gold and in some cases even slightly rose gold! Man I gotta get a piece from daniels in the future they really do it all with jewellery both in custom work and cuban link crafting

I got a 7mm 10k bracelet from lyris jewelry and it’s been an amazing piece, I do the same, it’s on me everyday , still looks great after almost 2 years, once a year I take it and get cleaned. A bracelet for life. You should be good when you buy from a good jeweler, for example if you get a “10k” from some spot at the mall, your probably getting 9k or less.
Don't they flash plate it with higher karat gold? It will become whiter (if they mixed more silver) or copperish (if they mixed more copper) over time when the plating comes off.
I like the natural color of 10 and 14k i never get dipped gold so no point in wasting extra for 14 if you cant tell the difference but certain links you can tell.

@@07350zhr what did you hear that the chlorine wears off? You should be fine with both 10 carat and 14 karat in chlorine, especially if you're not letting it soak in it. You'll have a lot of people tell you not to do it but personally, I take the chance and I haven't had a problem yet.
Great video , I’ve heard that 10k gold have a 18k gold pleeated color to look more yellow , but that this color get off over time, showing the real 10k color , does 10k natural color still being shine and beautiful ? Thank you
10k looks beautiful, but it’s pretty clear that its highlights shining looks stainless steel. Edit: not about the quality, just an observation. I would go for 10k since I find gold beautiful but silves looks better on me.

Old video but im 99% sure they plate 10k chains with 18k coating when you buy from the bigger brands. Ive had two aged 14k and 10k chains and the difference was major.
@@danr8267 they do coat them my friend but this piece did not have the coating on it at this point in time. It's been months since this video was made and it still looks the same as in this video. That's the natural color 👍

The slight rose gold hue is the copper showing, I don’t mined it at all every pice is unique
