  • THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN
In this video we take a deep dive into a 7mm 24inch 14k yellow gold Miami cuban chain from Jacoje Fine Jewelry. Not only that but we compare it to my 8mm 8inch 14k yellow gold Miami cuban bracelet from Daniel Jewelry Inc. I hope that I was able to help out anyone deciding between the 2.
If there are any questions that I left unanswered pls ask in the comments. If there’s enough I can make another video addressing them.
    Thank you for watching.

Ouch! If you turn the box lock over on the Jacoje and rather than pressing on the flat part which is the back of the lock. Press on the protruding part of the tongue, which acts like a button, and your box lock will open much easier.

Jacoje's Cuban links are overpriced compared to actual Cuban link jewelers. Also Jacojes cubans are imported from Italy. I think one of the most exciting parts about ordering a real Miami Cuban link is that you know it's being handmade specifically for you by craftsmen in Florida.

I’d rather have a machine made Italian chain than a hand made American chain. Italians are bar none the best manufactures of jewelry on earth. I’ve owned dozens of pieces in 18k, 21k, 22k from all over the world(UAE, Turkish, Indian, Peru, Italy and US). Italians are the best at it!!.

@@MannyRosales-fi4ff 9 out of 10 times, an Italian machine made chain will outshine and be of better quality than a hand made chain. Sure there are really good hand made chains but they are very rare. Italians are just pros at making beautiful jewelry. I’ve owned over 100 pieces over the years(nothing less than 18k) and that’s been my experience. I’m trying to get mine. Debating between both jewelers. Which one would you recommend? Daniels doesn’t have the same 8mm bracelet right now which is what I also I plan on getting along with 6mm Cuban link in 24” and a 4mm Franco in 22” (Daniels doesn’t offer this width so I may have to get it from Jacoje).
The lengths for the chain necklace might need to be switched around too… have to give it some though on how to stack them length wise.
If I get everything from Daniels, I might have to go down in size for the Franco to 3mm (biggest one they have available) and then downsize the Cubans to 5mm instead of 6mm. Keep the bracelet at 8mm.

Daniel's has a sturdier box lock, probably not casted. But on a practical point of view, Jacoje box lock is more practical(?): Not overly bulky looking (more flush with the chain) and the lack of button actually doesn't bother neck much or flip the chain when it is behind the neck. If I get Daniel's probably I would go with sleek lock.

Let me ask a question, Daniel jewelry 24” 14k Miami used to weigh approx 79grams. Now they say around 66 grams. Are they skimping on the gold now?

Honestly not sure, but from my personal experience they don’t skimp on the gold. My newest chain i just bought from them was like 1g heavier than the listed price I paid for

Have you checked the actual size? Is the chain actually 7mm or it is less? I recently bought a 7mm and it ended being a 6.8mm when I checked.

I just got my 6mm and it measured 5.8 seems like Jacoje runs .2 small on the Cubans. Sending it back for the 8mm which should be around 7.8

    7mm is the perfect width..i just think a 26 inch would be better…i wanna rock 2 chains though a 24 and 26 inch 7mm 🙌🏻

I ordered a 7mm 22 inch from Daniels, and it ended up being a few hundred bucks cheaper than Jacoje’s with the same specs. It hasn’t arrived yet so I hope the weight is there

From what I've seen Gus Villa may be better at making chains than most Miami Cuban manufacturers. My DJI bracelet is really fine but soon I'll be upgrading from 14kt so I'm looking at my dealer choices closely.

Is there a big coloring difference from the Jacoje vs Daniel Jewelry?

    • @sebastianjiminez9139
      @sebastianjiminez9139  ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah I notice the Daniel jewelry has that really deep rich yellow , while Jacoje is more pale
