I bought shocks for $92.00 the China brand company valued it at $14.16 on the customs declaration. Damn it they got me again.

Now that is a read bad ass piece of knowledge..The genuine ichiban shocks were for track racing only and then when peeled off and replaced with ohlins they become normal fast road etc. very good way to get the superior track racing shocks road legal. 5 stickers for sure.
im guessing the ohlins stickers are more expensive than the shocks...hmm

You can do this yourself, I just upgraded my chain and sprockets by fitting a spare yoshimura sticker, my bike is now much quicker from 0 to 60mph, I can always put it back to standard spec by simply removing the sticker if I should want to sell it.

+Ichiban Moto That's a great idea, if you find you like the improved performance , you can make it a permanent conversion by replacing the sticker for a badge, you can get self adhesive ones.
That upgrade was so easy!My stock ones are working better after that upgrade!
Ichiban, I'm surprised you would let Ohlins put their label on race proven Ichiban Moto suspension parts. Surely your brand will suffer from association with inferior product.

Lol! 2018 checking in, i just did exactly this 1 month ago with some shocks i just fitted to my RD400. Except i used yellow n blue stickers which are more genuine. WGAF? It works Lol!
lol they had to use blue to match the box back then. easy upgrade . they are putting the stickers right on at the knockoff factory now. well, probably.

That was a super nice set of nitrogen filled shocks with piggy back gas reservoirs, Please tell me you have them installed on your project cafe bike.
I think we all agree; nitrile gloves are necessary to keep fingerprints off the product, but the factory could save us a bundle if they stopped using those expensive vinyl gloves for cleaning with solvent.

Do they also supply a front kit? Seems stupid to upgrade to Ohlins on the back and be crippled with factory stock on the front. No point in only upgrading part of the bike.
