EP 84 - The FASTEST way to propagate succulents (not really)
So I have been buying plants again when I shouldn't. I just can't help it!
Over the past couple of weeks, I have been slowly accumulating more plants. However this weekend, I drove to Ascot Vale Garden Centre with full intentions of buying. It doesn't help that it was Fathers' Day in Australia, giving me more reason to spend that coin.
I'm happy with my loot though!

Out of curiosity ,how much are they per pot? I've never been to ascot vale garden center and am very tempted now!
Prices range from $7-40 but they are all on 50% off because they are clearing stock.

Yeah, I often have to just take their labels at face value and try to verify if they are correct later on as it grows haha!
DemonBunnyQueen if you look in Chucks ‘plant shop’ he has labeled a lot of his plants (...with photos). i found that very helpful.

I am addicted to your videos and I am learning alot so thank you, and I wish I had the space like you do in your garden because I just started growing/collecting succulents and they are all so Beautiful and they make my day when I go out into my garden to enjoy the work I put in and seeing it pay off feels pretty great. I am a Rose woman and have lots of Rose's but now I've found a new Love.
Yeah succulents are a huge shift in mindset because they have very different care requirements compared to the usual plants. But they can be quite fun once you get the hang of it!

Once you start, the buying never stops...hahaha. Same goes for me. It mellowed a bit over the years but still cant help myself from getting a plant or two every now and then.

I could work on a tour maybe mid spring. Right now many of my plants are still dormant due to winter and are shedding leaves or have some damage. I will let them outgrow these first while they enter growing season!

Haha, I don't usually make plant haul videos, but I think I accumulated enough that it was due to make one.
This is my most successful form of propagation. I’m not near such an amazing nursery though, so most of my babies come to me by mail. I love the parcel delivery dude! It’s hard to hide the newbies from my partner when they come this way though!
Haha, you might need a "dead drop" arrangement with your delivery man!

Wow! That is an amazing selection!!!!! How awesome! Here in Washington state, we are lucky to find maybe 10 different varieties at the store!
PURPLE nursery pots!?! they need to bring those to Canada! So not only was that the most dramatic nursery trip ever with that music (lol).. but this has to be the biggest succulent haul ive ever seen. You picked up some great ones. :) Loved seeing them all. Its still hot as heck here. today is in the 40's again. I wonder whatever happened to our Autumn in Canada? I think its shrunk to just November now. Crazy! Amyways Happy Spring to you! :D
