- LG Tub clean is maintenance routine that is required to keep your washing machine in optimal performance.
If you are staying in locality where bore well / very hard water is mostly used, then Tub Cleaning washing machine is recommended.
Other uses of this Descaling powder also mentioned on the packet and shown in the video.
But do take precaution while using it.

Proper way to drain the water is to remove the plug from the small black hose. That way you don't have to let water go all over the floor.

You forgot to mention and feed the hose into a 1 litre bottle to drain into. Much less mess this way

I have an old model of LG front load washing machine...it doesn't have an auto tub clean(TCL) option...
Tried the trick which you showed in the video for your machine( pressing the intensive + crease care buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds...and you'll get TCL - tub clean option)

100 grams lemonacid powder will do the same. Hottest cleaning program and after lemonacid cleaning you put normal cleaning program with normal laundry detergent.
When washing laudry, do not overdoze detergent. I have 7 kilo machinen and i never put more than one coffee measure ( aka so much detergent that you use coffee powder for one cup of coffee )
250 citricacid will remove them completely not like his stuff that let all the lime scale remaining in the filrers 😨

3 times a year minimum with all this lime scales! it increase all the energy consumption so better keep the machine cleaner and add a water softner every cycle

I bought Daiso liquid. When I pour in the front load LG machine, that liquid drained quickly omg. Ending up I wasted the whole bottle. How to use liquid for front load machine because the Liquid holder is not big emough to pour the entire bottle in. Thanks.

You have to use it every 1 mount, I use every 1 mount and in Italy we don't have this dirty water, it keep the machine efficient and use less elettricity without lime scale, but the way, for cleaning the filter, once it start draining the hot water you have to stop the machine and let the product sit inside filter and drain hose

I want to do tub clean, it's almost 10 months when I had bought and never did tub clean.
We don't have hard water so all these months we used corporation water.

Girish Sapariya It’s like we service our bike or car periodically. It’s recommended to tub clean your washing machine for optimal performance. If you have hard water tub clean power also remove all scale accumulated as well.

Girish Sapariya it’s recommend to do tub clean after 30 wash cycle. If you are using washing machine daily do tub clean at least once in 2 months

I have the same 7kg front load LG machine but it not vibrate, i have kept stand also below washing machine. i usually insert 12 to 14 cloths.
I used powder after two months for tubcleaning after tub clraning drum looks like black patches not like shiny one before tub cleaning it looked like new one but not now how to remove that black patches
maybe your black patches are mold overgrowth. Try using bleach or vinegar while running a cycle

Yes you can, but advice you to pre-wash it outside washing machine with Dettol etc to disinfect them.
Just disinfect them outside than in machine.

Dont u think that tub cleaning and descaling are teo different things . Some posts online say that using tub clean with descaling product can cause black patches as descaling only needs 60 degree c water. And it needs to stay for long whereas tub cleaning drains water multiple times.
In Tub cleaning we can use either powder or Liquid and water drains at the end. Have you checked?

Hemant Vaity, Yes LG recommend to Tub clean for every 30 wash cycles. We don’t use washing machine daily. Hence not used tub clean earlier, but will follow their suggestion going forward.
This de scale powder is very useful if we have hard water to remove white scale accumulating over the period. Also it’s not necessary to use LG brand powder. We can use other brands powder as well like IFB. They are same. In fact LG procure it from third party. Check on Flipkart or Amazon it’s available at discount

Doing it the wrong way man. .u should drain the water from the small tube 1st before opening the round cover.
