You take such good care of all your animals. Please be safe on your trip to bring her home. May God continue to bless your family & homestead! Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸
Good luck with your cow, I think you will do well.❤️ My grandmother was a Sennerin, that means she went with the milkcows on the mountain in the summer, to milk them and make cheese and butter. She told me that rocksalt was what lured the cows to the milking stand, because they would only get it there while milking. Greetings from Austria! 🇦🇹
I'm looking forward to the arrival of Hope . I enjoy watching your morning chores . your ducks always make me laugh when they run out of their house quacking and flapping and head right for the food dish.
This picture is INCREDIBLE! If I lived near your area, I would buy my FOODS from your HOMESTEAD. This is QUALITY OF LIFE-LIVING!!! VERY THERAPEUTIC FOR ME BECAUSE I GREW UP SIMILAR TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY !!!
When I was much younger, I'm 68 we we had a Jersey family cow my two brothers and I took turns milking. The part that brings back great memories is having unlimited butter, whip-cream, ice cream, and chocolate pudding, and of course milk. Enjoy Hope.
Many interesting changes around the farm. I REALLY like the hay holder. Much better than the round wire holding bales flat inside them. Busy with the rabbit trailers too!
Thank you for your lovely videos. You are so sweet to share all your experiences with us. It's lovely to watch such natural life. It's how it should be worldwide for all. It will be one day soon. Carol
Good luck with Hope. Looking forward to future videos of Hope and her new family. BTW, love to watch the ducks come flying out of their pen in the morning; they are so much fun to watch.

Maybe it's just me but I find watching chickens mesmerizing and calming. To me it's like watching gentle waves hitting the beach. I'm excited to see Hope in her new home. Hope the transport goes smoothly for you.
You both really inspire me to want to be a better human being. So thanks for all you do to teach us the simple, humble way of living. We should all strive to live like this. It would be such a better peaceful world.
you could bungee cord a tarp over the top of the hay and then air could circulate underneath it. Can't wait to see your family Milk Cow on the homestead!
Love love love!!!! Enjoy your Jersey milk. The best in the world!!! When we had one with two babies we fed her what smelled like figs. And she loved the salt lick.
So excited about the cow! I remember bringing ours home. She is still with us giving us milk and making us laugh. She is a lot of fun even though she is bossy

Auspicious, Hope on Sept 11. 40yrs ago we raised our children on our organic farm. We got milk from a neighbor who had a jersey cow and a guernsey cow. It was the best milk, cream and butter ever. When peaches were in that was the best ever.
Anyone notice the small mouse sized animal falling&/running down the bail of hay just as they’re talking about removing a layer of hay because of contaminants. 😆 Timing is everything! 15:18

Have you considered stringing a tarp between you trees to shelter that hay?
I agree that a shade cloth/weather tarp of some sort simple solution movable and easily taken up and down would be a good solution and affordable
I love it when you say good morning to the animals! It demonstrates you have great respect and care deeply for your animals!
So funny watching you release the ducks. They always seem to be late for something lol. God Bless
I love your farm and how clean and organized everything is kept 😍
I notice that every time too! And that is no easy feat, a lot of hard work!!
