You almost lost me at the end. This story was outstanding all 6he way through. But I thought she would refuse the money since it came from him. But you saved it!!!!! Great story and great ending❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️central Texas, USA🥰
Hello again Rachel. Your having Donated the grant monies as you had/have, is Monumentally Awesome. As you already know, however, please rest assure within yourself; that your bitter father can Not take that from you, No matter how much money he has. "You Did It Girl, You Really Did It". Very proud of you Rachel, Very Proud Indeed. 'Semper Fidelis Rachel, Semper Fidelis Indeed"
Rachel, although you and I do not know one another, "I am Ever So Proud Of You". Keep going Rachel, do not look back at all those ugly events of your younger days. You did Rachel. "Bravo Zulu, Well Done, Well Done Indeed". Thank you for reading my post. "Semper Fidelis, Semper Fidelis Indeed"...
What a horrible father? I would have wished she made a brief speech on the stage to indirectly reject the money from her dad's company by also donating it to a project so everyone will know therein that she was not going to use it on herself
What the heck is wrong with Rachel's father? He threw her out as a failure and she made something of herself; not just something, but something remarkably excellent, which is why she received the award. Since there's no background to make us understand him, I'm going to say, no matter what she did, it would never have been enough. Why? Because he couldn't stand the fact that he was wrong and she succeeded not only without him, but in spite of him. What an a$$hole. Mom wasn't any better. Here, her daughter's struggling with depression and mother thinks having material things should have made her happy. What a pair of heartless snobs. Rachel made it on her own and she was well rid of their toxicity. She learned that the only opinion of her value was her own.
Unless Rachel had married and changed her last name, the awards committee would have known that the donor and one of the potential recipients were potentially related.
@ …..It’s a great story, I just subscribed and I have been thrilled with your channel. Your stories are great, the tone, inflections, pronunciation, and everything is fantastic. Don’t know why that 1 story was so low volume. I even used a bluetooth speaker to raise the volume, but even maxed out, it didn’t change.

What horrible parents! They have the heart of a devil! I hope they found out you donated the money .
Rachel’s parents weren’t worthy of her. Rachel proved to them she was the better person than them. Excellent story.
Glad you liked it!
Op..when your dad dies.. lay black roses upon his casket and say.." God decides upon your own life, stranger". Then walk away.
Parents, remember don't live your life through your kids
That’s true!
i like your thinking!

She should give the money to an environmental group in his name. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why Rachel try to engage with her father? What purpose will that serve.
So WHAT if the scholarship came from her father’s company.
Re remember that a journey begins with the first step.until you take that step you are going nowhere.
Thanks for watching!
"pro lem with the language? Did not think English and American were that different!
Many Americans don't know that they speak English in England.
Depressing
Unless Rachel had married and changed her last name, the awards committee would have known that the donor and one of the potential recipients were potentially related.
Palmer is a pretty common last name.
Giving away 2 million is preposterous. Maybe half ...but all of it? Hard to believe anyone is that altruistic!!
It needs a second chapter.
Maybe! :)
Why is the volume so low? All of your other stories have a much louder volume and allow me to control it.
Not sure! I used the same settings for all videos. It sounds the same to me. Thanks for letting me know though!
