It's funny how some of the comments seem to think this is a real story! It is entertaining. But it is just a story. The Title to the Property would have to be changed..doesn't have anything to do with refinancing.... Which possibly could be answered by the Power of Attorney that the Hubby who "handled all the finances".. didn't notice... in the papers he did or didn't sign...😂😂😂 yep..just a well written story with lots of holes.

In 2006, my mother went into the hospital. That week, my ex went camping and left me alone to deal with this emergency. I complained to his mom who made excuses. But she told him to return. She died later that week in May. My father was devastated. So I helped my dad while grieving. The day before Thanksgiving, the 1st one after my mother's death, he broke up with me. I had taken 2 steps into the house when he blurted it out. I was already in pain anticipating how hard Thanksgiving would be without mom, so all I said to him was okay. I immediately started looking for a new place and was gone in 3 weeks. I didn't argue with him. Didn't yell. I minded my own business, packed, and left into a better place. He was expecting and wanted a scene. He got the opposite.

Timing is off. House was sold and they moved into an apartment. Three months later while on a Hawaiian vacation the house was sold again.

You don't make "new agreements" with people who have proved themselves untrustworthy. If you don't act immediately, you lose your right to refute the credit cards. You tell the fraudulent accounts that they are not yours. You follow up everything in writing. You file a police report. You protect yourself. I once had a girl friend who had half a dozen credit cards in my name without my knowledge. It took a year to clean up the mess but it was absolutely the only course of action. Assuming for a moment that this story is real, her lawyer should have told her all this.

I kind of wonder the same thing about the therapist. Was he not really a therapist? I mean I guess it wouldn't matter either way but either way if they were just trying to set her up. I believe he would have had to have gone to jail either way. Was his friend or cousin or whatever worth going to jail for? Because the minute the a therapist released tapes to a public media. He would have been thrown in jail immediately. You know it's like they're Golden rule or whatever. The story has become a little confusing it was going pretty well. But now there's too much it's not making sense.

How can Jocelyn be selfish with all that she has done for them. Families are the worst I would know SMH. And I hate when they say after all I've done for you. I'm happy that she distance herself from them.
