If the applicator is spraying insecticide, he should be wearing more PPE. Like chemical resistant cover alls, chemical resistant gloves, hard had with a face shield, and a respirator. As a pest control technician you should be trying to keep your exposure as close to 0 as possible.

This is an ad for a backpack sprayer, not an instruction video on spraying insecticides. You also have no idea what was being sprayed.

Is it the same switch as the last generation? We’ve had 2 flowzones have the switch go bad

Yes it has the same "waterproof microswitch" as Series 2.5. The part number for this is FZRAGT. Like all other parts, this is covered under our 1-Year Limited Warranty.
