Awesome video and explanation! It really helps having the voiceover done separately from the weld. It lets the welder focus on one thing at a time instead of trying to explain under pressure. The audio quality is also much better because the sound doesn't echo under the hood
He just gave a HUGE piece of advice that applies to ALL pipe welding. Put as heavy a cap as you are allowed, get used to doing that, and make it normal practice.

Crossover tubes. I have a video on one. Using a mirror. Having a quartz cup helps alot.
