What a gem of a song; sooo much in one page. I have a music degree and still struggle getting my head around the altered chords. This helped tremendously!
Thank you so very much for this chanell. It is the best jazz piano didactics on YT. According to this didactics, it is really possible to play even if you are not an advanced jazz player, even older children understand it, the harmonic analyzes are great, the voicing is fine, it sounds lovely, although it is not unnecessarily difficult. Thank you very much indeed. Even for sharing materials these days controlled by greedy misers.
why does the f minor 7 voicing work for the D diminished 7th chord where does the "G" in the top of the right hand come from? And why do you not need the third?
Commentator: We can play this in e flat major or C Major Guitarist: I hope it's in C Commentator: The version we will be playing today is in e Flat Guitarist: Da**it
I'm learning this song like "oh its not so hard to keep track of what's going on, this is pretty straightforward" until the C section hit lol
Tell me about, it lures you into a false sense of security and then hits you with the C section!
This channel is so underrated
Thanks very much!
Nice work
