EOS cameras are probably among the most useful from the 90s because they can mount any Canon lens even made today. Looking forward for more Peter Elgar in the coming decade!
Thanks -- I have not used it for a 'While' as I have so many old 'Treasures' to use and being in Lockdown cannot travel futher than Brentwood High Street so I take the same 'Test Subjects'
Excellent camera! It takes all L professional Canon lenses. They are very cheap to buy nowadays . If you get a chance, don't hesitate when you have the opportunity.
I was given one of these recently, sadly it was badly packed so the top screen is cracked and the battery latch has broken on it! Not overly keen on them far too plasticky for me but the AE-1 it came with I do adore ;-)
Red Shutter Photography I have just found an eos 1000 in my grandparents house in perfect conditions and with 2 lents + an Olympus af s2 , these old cameras are really gorgeous!
Scanner Iain ere :-).... A quick question. In one of your previous video's... You taped an extension to the film leader to generate more frames within that roll of film. Will this method be beneficial to this camera and this sort of film wind on? Happy Christmas by the way :-)
Yo ! Iain ! YES - I tried taping a short cut length of waste film to the cut leader and it seemed to work ! ( A Scannerly Christmas and New Year to YOU Too ) !
The only way I can think HOW to show you is to give you a 'Link' to my Flickr Photostream -- they are LAST ones uploaded -- some of the 'Found Film' I processed and the first B&W tests I did on both lenses --- www.flickr.com/photos/25850987@N03/
Sorry Been ILL so late in reply-- i have no idea WHY that happens especially as Battery is new -- maybe you can join www.canonforums.com and ask on there -- they are very helpful ---- I am a member . Peter
Sigma lenses of that era were absolute rubbish. I have three of them, and they vary from very sticky to liquid jelly! Nikon camera bodies went down a similar "soft touch" route. Sigma suggested mine may have suffered chemical contamination, which presumably means human touch. Strangely, none of the other manufacturer's lenses stored with them had similar problems. I'd never buy another Sigma lens based on their response to the known issue.

If it feels too plasticky, I HIGHLY recommend the Canon EOS 1 because it’s all metal and has basically everything you might need for photography
Hi, I have the same camera and I’m having trouble removing the 2 batteries from the holder. Could you explain to me how to remove them?
You don’t remove them, they stay in it

Hello, I have this camera too, but after taking 20 pictures, the camera turns itself off. Is the battery dead? (it was new)
