MGK didn't rise as a battle rapper and so it was a beef he was never gonna win. Felt like Rap Devil was the sort of song that could be played at clubs but it failed to be savage and on the attack. The way Em did kill shot though it was over kill. If MGK was 80 and herd that dis he would have went into cardiacarrest before the second verse.

I think I really like the sound of this album. Overall, yes. Feel like Em has somehow managed to outdo himself yet again lyrically. The production feels a bit like his first few albums to me, with upping the lyrics.
"Eminem got a chip on his shoulder." This is how I see it. I was in high school when Eminem first came out with SSLP. By the time The Eminem Show released, my thought was "this dude might be the best rapper of all time. 3 instant classics and I don't know if anyone can ever touch him." Then he lost his mind, fell into drugs and started putting out average music(some of it was like "what the hell is this shit? Cough, Encore, cough") and it became one of those "oh, what might have been" situations. I think he realized that he has the opportunity to cement his legacy and thought about the 1,000s of rappers who will never even get a shot to be where he is. He got his act straight and starting with Kamikaze, this is now Em focusing on his legacy and trying to leave no doubts in anyones mind where he belongs on the hip-hop list. After Kamikaze, and now MTBMB, I once again have that feeling of "NOBODY CAN TOUCH THIS DUDE!" I'm actually really happy he got it all back together and is giving us lasting memories of some of the greatest music that will ever be made. I'm here for it as long as he is around.

I think they just worked together out of respect. They both are distinctive, authentic, and honestly that's what excited me the most about this entire album. He really blended so many styles and let everyone who features do what they do and how they do it. :)

This is how I see it. I was in high school when Eminem first came out with SSLP. By the time The Eminem Show released, my thought was "this dude might be the best rapper of all time. 3 instant classics and I don't know if anyone can ever touch him."
Then he lost his mind, fell into drugs and started putting out average music(some of it was like "what the hell is this shit? Cough, Encore, cough") and it became one of those "oh, what might have been" situations.
I think he realized that he has the opportunity to cement his legacy and thought about the 1,000s of rappers who will never even get a shot to be where he is. He got his act straight and starting with Kamikaze, this is now Em focusing on his legacy and trying to leave no doubts in anyones mind where he belongs on the hip-hop list. After Kamikaze, and now MTBMB, I once again have that feeling of "NOBODY CAN TOUCH THIS DUDE!" I'm actually really happy he got it all back together and is giving us lasting memories of some of the greatest music that will ever be made. I'm here for it as long as he is around.

I don't think he wants any artist to change what they do over him. She said what she said how she wanted to say it, and set the the tone for the track off so well. I think they just worked together out of respect. They both are distinctive, authentic, and honestly that's what excited me the most about this entire album. He really blended so many styles and let everyone who features do what they do and how they do it. :)
