For example, "fake" and "fate" don't rhyme, but they have assonance because they have the same A sound. Literally - "the repetition of the sound of a vowel or diphthong in nonrhyming stressed syllables near enough to each other for the echo to be discernible" This whole song is an exercise in assonance.
His assonance and alliteration are both amazing. He hammers it often with polysyllabic words while throwing out phrases with double meaning. It is damn impressive.

The problem with most song today is that they are overly repetitive and “rhyme” by ending each line with the same word. Long story short. Rap to me is like a poem being sung.
I’d heard of Juice but never listened to him till this song dropped. It was my first experience with Juice. Went to his albums and didn’t care for much.
