- I was doing free work in this neighborhood all week and saw this really dirty driveway. I offered to clean it for free for the homeowners and they laughed because they thought I was joking. Little did they know that when I got finished, their driveway would look BRAND NEW!

I laugh every time you tell the customer you're doing "community service work" cuz where I come from "community service" is issued by a judge cuz you did something illegal & that's your punishment. Luv watching your unbelievable transformations. I look forward to them weekly.
I never think they look that bad to begin with. Sometimes even during the job. But, the before and after looks amazing. Great job, Spencer!
Maybe the editing of the photos and the pavement being wet on the afters it's a bit deceiving. Not saying he is lying or something, just that the difference IRL probably isnt that drastic.

combination of moisture and smog
I'm in Utah. I was also so startled and confused when I first started watching these. My older sister moved to Texas. She would say "sure it's freaking hot here too." But. At least it's a Dry heat here. With a dry heat, the sun bleaches the cement. With humidity heat+shade, you get moss/algae. At least, that's how I understood it. 🤷
Heat and moisture creates algae, moss and mildew. It's very common in the Southern states where there's high humidity. Also when the grass dies in the winter there is dirt and it can easily get on a driveway.
From a delivery persons viewpoint an algae/moss covered driveway and stairway are a hazard especially when they are wet. I can't tell you how many times I had slipped on the moss/algae walkway and stairs when they were wet. Thanks Spencer for all that you do.

I had some landscaping done that required taking a skid steer across my driveway and sidewalk, and also involved dumping dirt and rock on my driveway. The contractor pressure washed everything afterward and did a good job. But I did catch myself thinking SB would have done it even better!

Holy Cow, I'm not sure how, as a homeowner, I'd feel if someone came to me to do a "free community service" to clean up a home as nice as that one is. I think I'd be embarrassed, for either getting called out for being too lazy and letting it deteriorate to that point, or couldn't afford to do it myself! But again, some people don't realize they need it until they see the after pics. Great job, and I'm sure they appreciate it.

The words “Community Service” have connotation of being mandated by a court. Not one to tell you how to introduce what you’re doing, but wanted to point that out.
I mean, I know many high schools are requiring a certain amount of Community Service to graduate these days, so take this however you wish.
You do such great work with both your pressure washing AND your yard clean ups. Why do you put soap on some driveways but not on others?
I wish there was someone like you in my area. I have someone who cuts my grass every week but unless I pay him way more than I can afford he won’t touch where my only raised garden used to be or next to my house. Weed trees are starting to grow about 6 feet tall already and my back patio is in horrible condition. 😢 I can’t afford to have the patio power washed either. His lawn cutting is reasonable but the other stuff… 😢
