Yeah in the first season he was such a naive and light caracter. When I watched the show I used to think of his change as bitterness because of all that happened between him and alisson . They never stopped loving one another but couldn't be together. 💔
@@Backup_Plan Brroke stay on my fav character many scene I’ve forget since , here in Canada we had every seasons like two years late , I remember and forget many stuffs , Amanda et Kimberley stay my top 2 , ultimate bitch at high level but differently as well , after for me came Brooke , Lexi and now got to say Jane
Did we all know that acting has to be natural.... It means, such as, Billy who everybody keep saying he is a bad actor. People, he is honestly acting just natural, which I believe it's perfect. Otherwise, he wouldn't be chosen or accepted to be played as Billy in the show. Then, there must be a reason to get the rule. Of course, every actor or actress is different. Not everybody is the same. ☑️
there's "neutral" and then there's having less personality than a Venetian Blind. That was Andrew Shue's ENTIRE look and acting throughout the ENTIRE series. Wall paper paste had more umph.
True. The show was quite entertaining indeed, there were some foolish plots and twists 😂, but the only ones who could really act were Kimberly, Matt and Amanda. The others were rather meh 😑
I believe Billy is a great actor, it's perhaps his normal personality or the character that most of the people are not aware of..... His calm suave way of talking and acting....... Anyway, he seems like a good actor, who simply just fitted with the rest of the team. ✌️
Looking at the show now his acting was mediocre to me, he sound like he reading from cue cards. I have to see him in something else to see if he can really act.
Billy's acting never bothered me . He 's playing this naive, innocent young man naturally and it suits me. Same for producers , otherwise he would have ended up like Sandy or Rhonda.
To save Alison’s job. He knew she would be in deep doo doo if Brooke knew he was there to help Alison with her project because she had been drinking the night before.
I get that he was goodlooking but I doubt there’s been a more talentless actor in a leading prime time television role than Andrew Shue. In the beginning when his character was more of a decent, common struggling young everyman, he could get by on being a fresh face, but as the show progressed and they tried different things with his character it became clear he had almost zero acting ability other than hitting his marks and reciting his lines. He’s not even cardboard. He’s like a soulless automaton. And yeah it’s Melrose and it was superficial soap nonsense but plenty of the actors on the show could at least sell the material with their abilities and charisma. With a different actor, Billy could have been a lot more interesting. With Andrew, Billy was a brick wall of nothing.
Billy to Allison "from now on stay out of our life" loud DRAMATIC music....I love MP 😊
I like how Alison said to Karen.... oops I mean Brooke "to bad you don't have a brother"
"1 room, 1 night, 1 maaaan, 1 SUUUULLLUUUUHT" LOL!
🤣
Hahahah Brooke was my favourite Melrose place character I wish she had stayed longer in the series.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
As the seasons of Melrose Place progressed, Billy became colder.
Fitting since his acting is like that of a barely alive human.

The way Billy handled it all, was great. Interesting scene. 👌
Too bad you don't have a brother 😂😂 Go Allison!!
Great scene 🙏🏻
Take me home NOW I love this jaleous nevrotic Brooke

I agree but if we take a look to his career, compared to the others MP actors, it seems he can just play one role.

This comment doesn’t even make any sense. The point is, ON MELROSE PLACE, he’s a damn good actor. Get a life.
@@kingofpendragon if you played 1 role in all your acting life, probably you just played yourself. Who isn't good at that? Get a brain.
They call it "play it straight", instead of over acting do the opposite. Helena Bonham Carter mentioned this in an interview about Sweeny Todd.

OMG! no cellphone on the table.!
Go Brooke ! Your a physco but you rocked this scene!
She was stellar !!!
Brooke’s lazy eye helped make her look even more insane.
I never saw this. This is sooooo juicy goooood
0:33 Ehm isnt that usually what you do?
Allison was the most hypocritical woman on the show next to Amanda.
This Billy guy has very bad acting. But the show was very good back in the days.
So true
Andrew shue was awful

I LOVE ANDREW SHUE ❤
@@bobbyjohnson9409it’s like he was flatly reciting his lines. Reading them off the script
To be quite honest I don’t
truly think Billy loved Brooke
like he did Alison.
Duh! Tell us more CAPTAIN OBVIOUS 😂😂
Charlotte, I really don't like your twin sister.

It's nice to hear from you, Lea. Keep in touch. See ya around! Love your name!! 🥰❤️
@@ellylovely205 Thank you ! 😀
@@lateshiachilds3640agree. I just said that in another thread! It’s like he’s literally reading off the script. No emotion whatsoever
Billy was my least favorite character. Always thought Andrew Shue could have used a good haircut.
And acting lessons.
That's probably why he quit acting years later.
I love the 90's. Acting was so bad I couldn't help but watch these shows 😅
She’s only tolerating one affair, how reasonable 😳😳😳
😂😂😂
Too bad Andrew Shue had as much drama off offscreen as he had onscreen.
What ?
Not at the time, I think.
Yeah Billy was bad acting
I don't get it...why did he lie?
To save Alison’s job. He knew she would be in deep doo doo if Brooke knew he was there to help Alison with her project because she had been drinking the night before.
Couldn't stand Charlotte i mean Brooke
Billy was great in the beginning and soo funny, then he got too serious and sad😢
More polarizing
she’s pregnant and she is drinking coffee?
Brooke was a horrible character
He’s Asian?

I don’t get this scene. Why did Billy put his marriage on the line for Allison’s career again?
because he felt sorry for her. If Brooke knew that she was drunk and messed up the client meeting, she would of told Amanda.
@@socialmedianotfunanymore
Thanks for the answer. That totally makes sense to me now.
This Billy bashing is tiresome and, quite frankly, beginning to sound like racism and discrimination against an Asian actor.
