I love this build, finally someone keeping the factory tub setup. Something I want to do and have for quite a few years but I'm always looking for inspiration..... I think this is the inspiration I'm looking for.
The "whole nine yards", in the description, comes from Spitfires having a nine yard ammunition belt. When they landed, the Aircraft Handler would ask "how many rounds sir". During the Battle of Britain, [UK], the pilot would say "the whole nine yards, please".
Thanks for sharing Dean 👍 what a sweet setup! Well thought out and efficient use of space without too much excess weight. Love the hidden bar mate 🤟😎 nicely finished all round 👌 i like the way you filmed it all in one vid too - was very easy to watch and interesting to see your choices with your knowledge.
Great work Dean.. Looks epic_ been using that formply on my build for the car and the trailer in the lead up to our WA / Arnhem Land lap- are you please able to share details on the where the leg system for the table came form? Running a plastic at the moment- but considering the work I've put in to the builds its just simply out of place- Inspired work mate. Cheers- Hope to See U OTR!
Goeie werk Dean. Groete uit RSA!🇿🇦 Unbelievable build! Completely different to what you see in mainstream overland builds. Where do you plan on locating the spare wheel? Perhaps it could be fastened on top of the front roof rack?
I've never understood this 'grey water' idea. It's like no one realises you can just buy a nice silver filter by someone like 'best water filters' and it will steralise the water when you fill up the tank and its not any slower. Just have all your water drinking water quality for the price of a 150$ filter.... Makes no sense to not do that.
Great video. Love the custom table @40:01👍
Love how you think about getting things out o service them ( the battery etc ) so many people don’t

Great piece! Perfect is the enemy of a good outcome.

This is a really interesting build, thanks for posting it!
No problem!
Brilliant 👍🏽
Awesome and well thoughtout!!!
Glad you think so!
Keen for details on the clever table leg set up - were the legs diy as well.
yes all DIY might be a bush co product in the future. For now it was just made off the cuff.
Interesting where do you plan to fit spare tire with such setup?

Great build video. Gave me some great ideas! Quick one - where did those table legs come from?
Dean this is brilliant!! Really like what you've done here. Any chance you can share the drawings or dimensions? Id like to build this for my 79.
Hi Calvin thanks for the response , sorry to say all custom as i build it on the fly so no drawings.
