Would really love to see the second review channel of all things outdoors, as a bowhunter I love it when you get a really good review of a product that that person is not sponsored or paid to do. Keep up the great work!
Nothing better than having a setup that is functional for what you want. I believe functionality is key to travelling, touring and doing what you do.. Well done mate.. 👏
Loved this Vlog Nath, can't wait for the next Cape Yorke episode buddy. Stay grounded mate, in my opinion that's what separates you from the miriod of other like minded channels. Cheers
What a great setup and very well thought out Nath. We are looking forward to the new channel, bring it on! Well as you well know here at "Wild Screeches" we do our best but this has blown us out of the water 😯. Just to give you some of our recent upgrades: Roll cage fitted to the ride-on, complete with inflatable igloo tent and pump mattress. New second hand remould tyres (new to us). Top loading eski and yes it fills with water and crap in the bottom. Underneath we have a recycled Snap On tool box with all our great items (another series on that). In the bottom drawer we have a state of the art wooden shopping board with magnet to hold our knife (designed by me). My air bags are modelled on my two next door neighbours!! On the front we have a large fishing reel as a winch as we don't have enough electric power for a motor. However the cycle dynamo working on the exercise bike on the trailer does generate some power but Cheryl complains she is knackered all the time, dear oh dear... 😏. Anyway take care, see you next week complete with our pluggers!!
😮 sounds like you’ve thought of everything! If you bring it over to Australia I’ll do a rig rundown of it in the channel 😜, I think it will fit right into the Wild Reaches Fleet
So glad to hear another 79 owner call bs regarding the chassis extension Fad. So many TH-cam influencers infer that the 79 explodes without a chassis extension, coil conversion or ripping out the DPF.
Well Iv built this one to be practical and affordable for what I do. The only way I see the extension and all that being needed is if youre needing to load it up over 4 ton and then yeah maybe. Cheers Ben
Second channel sounds good !.....maybe do a cheap, middle range n expensive comparison....I'll be clicking the like and subscribe button on that one too ♥♥....bring on next weeks vid !!
Great vid. The second Channel is a great idea. Would be a pretty unique thing; An Aussie Channel that reviews a huge range of gear. You are a brilliant presenter, you are objective and have an awesome style. For the work you put into this Channel and the effort you put into comments you should have 100x the subs. Keep it up and good luck mate.
Great walkround Nath. Those Enerdrive systems look unreal. Re: weights, plenty of folks getting weighed and pinged up the Cape this year .... they are certainly cracking down on it.
Yeah Nath.....Archer River & Weipa. More of a community outreach thing and voluntary but I heard of one at Musgrave and they were pinging people out of Cairns - just north of the airport and on the road between Atherton & Mareeba.
wow mate, thats the dream setup right there. i tried earlier this year to get a 79 twin cab like that. I got told there was a 18-24 month wait. i ended up getting the Ram warlock. i have been using it to tow and launch our 4.3 ton Ab boat. i bloody love. but now watching this i want one of them as well. haha. great vid Nath, i really love you dead honest reviews, no bullshit. much appreciated mate.
Awesome review of the 79 mate, where's the travel buddy😄 I personally agree with the minority that another second channel may stop alot of people watching your main one. You do what is best for you mate👍🤙
Cheers Brent. I think logistically it may need to be a second channel… haha yeah the travel buddys are good hey. Dane had one in the troopy and I was impressed
Really interesting to see what you've done over the last while to get this vehicle to the standard it's now at. I don't think you need to separate out a channel unless you feel it has benefits for you (but I can understand why you would!). The recommendations you make are important because it's gear you've smashed relentlessly. Good advice about weights & legality. Well played 🙏✌️👍
Hey Paul, glad it was useful mate. Yeah I think I have some value to share with testing gear for everyone, would be a bit of fun too. thanks for your input mate
Great Video mate. have tossed up between a 79 series and a chopped 200. I think you have convinced me . Regarding the new Channel even a video of making your own draws. I've made my own and it's very rewarding. Cheers Dave.
Thanks David, I travelled Aus in a 200 and loved it, the chopped 200 may be the ultimate tourer. But I love the 79, feels like a boys truck I can knock around a bit more

Great vid and great to see a build that's not a mega dollar sponsor special that has all the same gear as the last one. A review channel sounds good but I assume would be time consuming. In that you need to spend a fair amount of time with the products to gauge an opinion. I'll keep an eye out though.
Great content mate and very relevant. The review Chanel would be a subscriber for sure. Like yourself I spend a lot of time researching and comparing products which I do enjoy, however sometimes it would be good to see the products tried and tested.

That was a awesome truck review it's actually good to listen to an honest review on a side note I know you got a few kilos up your sleeve but once you are fully loaded with the new boat don't forget the ball weight to add on as well would be interesting to see what you actually do come in at 👍👍👍
Your journeys are amazing ,beautiful country thanks Nathan for sharing your experiences, how do you find your quad bikes cf motto for reliability they look strong and tough cheers 🤙
Thanks Niah. You’re welcome. I think they’re good, this new one is 1000hp, it’s a beast. It proved its reliability to me on the last trip towing the boat out thru those salt pans and back. I’m really happy with it so far.
Another channel 😍 roof top tents and 270 awnings are something Ide like to see you test. There’s so many out there and like you said if your travelling around the country ( touring) Ide like to know which are the strongest especially the awnings. I don’t want to stuff around with poles and ropes more to trip over at night. Camp king is one brand Ide like to get your opinion on before I shell out $10,000 😳
Cheers for the rig rundown , legend .. how do you find the 2inch with 315s, no real rubbing as such ? Debating 2-3inch lift but if I can keep it with 2inch lift I will .. keep up the awesome work legend
I get slight rubbing at full lock left turn, down hill over a decent rock or mound. Other than that it’s fine. (I squeezed a small spacer in the front could tho to even out height to the rear airbags. Thanks mate, glad you’re enjoying it!
Did you say 70psi in the air bags? What does it weigh in at (actual loaded, not what the GVM is) and what load rating rear springs does it run? 70PSI seems excessive? I weight about 4-4.2t and bags hit maybe 40 max and I thought that was pushing it? Maybe not?
How does all this expense improve the view or get you closer to nature ? Especially considering that all the Hire 4wd's get to the same spots. Are you going to have to hand it all back when the interest rates go up in 2023 ?
Hi the 12v setup what’s the tuff cost on something like that I have a steel tray and canvas back like your old setup and down the track I would like to do same with aluminium canopy and would like to be able to swap 12v over to it thanks
