I remember seeing Rupert Everett on the movie Another Country 40 years ago. He is older now of course , and is good looking , but he was very nice in the film.
Rupert Everett's autobiography 'Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins' is the best autobiography I've ever read it's interesting, moving, honest, incredibly funny and brilliantly written highly recommended
Without him ‘My Best Friends Wedding’ would have been a flop (sorry Julia but very true) He was beguiling in ‘My Policeman’ Oh and let’s not forget how gorgeous he was in ‘ The Next Best Thing’ ❤
Thanks to Mr. Ruppert I read the last Summer a wonderful book by Graham Greene "Travels with my Aunt". Listening to "Desert Island" podcast He recommended this book.. Which I didn't know anything about. Great actor.. And also Cinema Director. 👍
The American No? A bit ironic, since all we hear about is how the British never mean what they say... "I'll take that into consideration" means "NO WAY" but the Brits won't directly own up to it, they're passive-aggressive.
Why do brits call anyone who does movies a "Hollywood" star? Rupert has worked mostly in England. He is a british star. Not all movies are made in Hollywood. Do brits consider the movie studios in britain part of Hollywood? Just wondering.
I think Hollywood is seen as the pinnacle of the film business, the Oscars are the most prestigious awards etc. So if an actor has had fame there it’s seen as something special. I do think it’s a bit of a lazy term when most of his work isn’t there, though.
Shocking this this Actor isn't on TV more ...absolute waste of a great talent. I've always thought this guy should be the new Sherlock Holmes. Rupert, you made Wilde happen..get Sherlock off the ground. You're made for it
First of all, I always wonder why the biggest losers feel obligated to inform people about other people's talents. Second, unless you're Donald Trump, you shouldn't capitalize entire sentences!
This is what an actual older person looks like without the plastic house of horrors, well done Rupert for being yourself as you age.
Yes! Please write an etiquette book for social media. Sorely needed.
I saw Rupert Everett and Colin Firth together on stage ....yrs ago didn't realise at the time how lucky I was .
Another country?
A gentleman.always a pleasure listening to him.
Have always loved Mr Everett ,s work
Once handsome, always handsome in a person's mind. He's aging gracefully.😊😊😊
What a Lovely and kind interview it is a nice change nowadays thank you.

Adore Rupert's writing....fabulous raconteur too
Met him at a Q&A at the Citizens Glasgow and he signed my book. He is a delight.

Cat always looks gorgeous, but her clothes and hair style today is beautiful 🤩
Without him ‘My Best Friends Wedding’ would have been a flop (sorry Julia but very true) He was beguiling in ‘My Policeman’ Oh and let’s not forget how gorgeous he was in ‘ The Next Best Thing’ ❤
Wow, he was in My Best Friend's Wedding!
A brilliant British actor so handsome and somewhat sadly under rated....
He's English.
Was handsome, you mean. Years and years ago...😊
Agree, underrated,,, loved all his movies, talented actor 💯
He’s a fascinating character, I recommend his autobiographies, very entertaining. I also saw him once riding his bicycle in London.
Loved him in Cemetery Man.
He's one of my favorites. 💖

RUPERT IS SUCH A GENTLEMAN ❤

My Husband took Us to See Rupert in a Play about Oscar Wilde we had the best seats in the house
What a gentleman ❤
I feel like the couch makes the hosts look like they are slouching.
The voice of Prince Charming from shrek
Another pure Gentleman.
💜
Rup is terrific !
I had a guy one night.... he said it was sooo perfect...never heard form.him again...i guess an American no is ghosting😢😅
Please remember there are more ideas and pitches out there, than there are actors, studio, theaters and financing to make them.
Tolérance !
Wowsers rough
looks totally different
There should be more character roles for elderly actors!
"older" lol
There are tons of character roles for mature actors. But mostly for those who are really good...
Omg - he looks ancient

Why do people call anyone English whis worked mainly in England, British????
He's English thanks. 🏴
Goodness, he used to be so handsome 😮
He has aged gracefully.
For Christ sake we all get old and ugly. Look in the mirror.
It's called getting old...it will happen to you too.
And how many of us ever were?
@@storyland-m4u It's the gap here that's so startling. Most very good looking people remain at least quite good looking into their mid 70s, usually.
My Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins were £10 Poms! Loved Rupert in Emily in Paris and Funny Woman, although I didn't like Brian the Agent he played.
What is the title of Everett’s book?
The American No.title of the book, by Rupert Everett
wow he got very old
It shocking.
He might be ill...
No he is not a Hollywood star but a British actor.
One can be both.
Gosh 65 he hasn't aged well !!
I totally agree. But the sad fact is if you don't take care of yourself, the downhill can be brutal. Like this case.
Did you mean that he hasn’t had plastic surgery and has aged naturally? Ya fkn twit.
Yes, not good people....
I hate emails.
It looks like he has an old man filter on
Shocking this this Actor isn't on TV more ...absolute waste of a great talent. I've always thought this guy should be the new Sherlock Holmes. Rupert, you made Wilde happen..get Sherlock off the ground. You're made for it
He’s already been Sherlock Holmes. Wiki would have told you that.
@nancyblackett8777 Yeah I saw the BBC film..I'm talking about making a whole series.. I never look at wiki it's always wrong!
Wow, he is just 65 but looks like a 80 year old man, what happened to him?
It's not a wild guess to claim: a mix of bad plastic surgery and hard days nights!😮
He hasn't aged well!
Go away. There’s more than enough negativity online.
?? He, s in his mid 60,s ffs
Yes, lots of Greek's, down under.... sadly mean people...
A gay actor who made all the bad choices…did good work in the u.k. not in America
Cat is SO fake it´s unbearable.
stop being bitchy
HOLLYWOOD TOLD YOU NO, NO, NO BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A GOOD ACTOR.
First of all, I always wonder why the biggest losers feel obligated to inform people about other people's talents. Second, unless you're Donald Trump, you shouldn't capitalize entire sentences!
Yea very very boring everett no wonder you always get turned down....Big yawn
In your opinion…
Wow, he aged like milk 😱
Condensed milk he's a sweetie
@@storyland-m4uNo, like milk that's being left outside for a whole warm day in July...😊
at least he is natural milk and not hideous milk made of plastic like his pal Madonna and such.
Like Billy Idol! ❤
if he was mexican...he would be called EL POSTERIO BANDEETO.....think about it...
He never was a looker. But he looks like an old man now. Not aged well. Not at all.
what ya talking about he was handsome when young, has old skin though, got to praise those who age naturally rather than look like a plastic clown.
