    I’m here after seeing you with Gail and Alex. I love anything antique and have some beautiful bottles. It’s so much fun treasure hunting.

      I'd already found a Codd. Great bottles, but nowhere near a Stoneware printed Ginger to me! W :)

    Charming first video! Well done! Thanks to the Northern Mudlarks for turning me on to your channel. I'm a glass and stone junkie, so I love all the beautiful glass objects... and the Ink Well, as well 😉😉

    The Northern Mudlarkers told us about your channel. You have some nice finds. You can cut bottles down to make glasses, candle holders, whatnot holders, etc. Are you going to have a store?

    Yea! I’m benging a long and am deciding to go AIIIIII the way back to the beginning of your channel. I live in the arid west of the U.S. and in my younger days loved to check out the garbage dumps of some of the mines that never were paying out. Interesting history and oh so curious as to what I was finding. I wish I could do more than just subscribe to contribute but I’m now in a care facility and what few Pennie’s the gobble ment let’s me have is very dear. Keep up your interesting work and I’ll keep wishing I was there!

    I'm sure your cream pot is quite rare, looks like it has the sepia print rather than the much commoner black print (the one I have!)

    • @dirtysecretsofscotland
      @dirtysecretsofscotland  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey - thanks! I think you're right. I've found a few broken black print ones, but only one sepia - thankfully whole. Thanks for watching! :)

    I've been enjoying ur vlogs and bottle dumps! You Have a gold mine of treasures!! I watch a lot of theses videos and I want to warm you not to make your roundups too long, you show us a picture of beautiful clean bottles with the circa dates, I love that but long roundups will not be watched some people spend way too much time on roundups!

    • @dirtysecretsofscotland
      @dirtysecretsofscotland  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Linda - I wanted to try a slightly different format. I'm naturally quite hyperactive, so I find myself switching off a bit during a long roundup. I guess I make the videos in much the same way as my mind works! I appreciate your comment. Willie :)

    How do you know where the tips are? Do you have to get the landowners permission to dig? My relation owned Dunragit Post Office and some family worked in the creamery there. Love following you, partner and Jack Spaniel. Kia Ora from New Zealand.

      Hey, I look on old maps mainly. I made a video about it - it’s fairly near the bottom of the video list. Check it out if you get a chance.
      Thanks for sharing your story about Dunragit. I found so many of those! Cheers. 🙂
