I enjoyed this video so much, I love journaling (mostly wacthing people fill in their journals) and am now so invested in the filling of that google sheet
Ohhh like this approach, i do also get every single free game i see in hopes of one day playing it. Also some games i got a while ago are now unplayable or servers closed, in what category these games would fall?
Free games are a true weakness. hahaha. If the game is completely unplayable, goes into Dropped. If there is still some fuctionality like local saves, or co-op I might put it into Retired or Shelved.
Stop buying games. Edit: Just play the ones you want to play. Go by biggest interest. I'd say play the biggest triple A games. I don't play games too finish. If you like the game you'll finish it. Don't feel guilty. Games are suposed to be fun. Just because epic games give you free games doesn't mean all of them are going to be fun or worth while. Just dont buy anymore games until you've completed all the games. It's ok to keep collecting the epic games free games tho.
Thanks for the advice. 🙂 I'll be granting myself a game reward after finishing a phase of 30 games. hahaha. So far, I'm enjoying the process. I won't force myself to finish them, that much I've learned from achievement hunting. Love my free games haha. But there will be a restrain on the wallet for a bit haha.
@dhnybadger you probably will never need to buy a game again. Or by the time you would finish all your games the games you want would be heavily discounted. I find your way to play them interesting.
I have a similar spreadsheet but yours is soo much better wow. You gave me great ideas, thank you
Oh no, what have you done. I already do journaling for my games, but now I NEED a spreadsheet like this
Great video!!
Thank you for watching! I might make a video just for the spreadsheet haha. I've already changed it quite a bit.

Mind sharing the spreadsheet?
Maybe? I've been thinking about it. Though the spreadsheet is soooo different now from what it was on this video.
@@dhnybadger Still, it'd be great to organize my ever-growing backlog (especially right before the upcoming winter Steam sale).
