Congratulations on its first shakedown run. I can totally appreciate how you kept this project a "budget build" and the time you spent showing your design and build process using materials you had or salvaged down to the wiring and diagrams you shared. I love the stance it has. Looking forward to future builds and glad I found your channel. Continued success.
So glad you tube randomly popped one your videos up for me today. This is my 3rd one I've watched. This is how I've built and worked on cars over the years. Your channel is a change from watching builders with all the big fancy clinically clean workshops with all brand new parts and endless amounts off money. Keep up the good work.
That rat rod turned out amazing! The yellow on the spare tire bump matches the tag, the exhaust sounds great. A little foam strip under the hood and she's ready for every day! Truly amazing craftsmanship.
Here in the United States we love Rat Rod’s! That was a great test drive! It look great going down the old dirt road! You done a fantastic job building the Rat Rod! Love ❤️ it!
It has to feel rewarding to drive your creation out of the garage and down the road. Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and most of South Dakota have plain dirt roads, some with a little gravel, but no small mountains. I could hear excitement in your voice. I would have like to hear your buddy "The Bush Mechanic" had to say, but I am sure he happy for you. I am! I enjoyed the music, you have good taste as their are free, then those with royalties! Great, especially your slow motion dirt peel. Good for you! DK, Omaha.
Hey, I just wanted to say I’ve really enjoyed your channel. I love the idea that you don’t take things too seriously and make do with what you have. Don’t listen to the nay sayers, they probably done nothing themselves! Keep up the great content!
I personally would cut the back of the fender before raised the front , it looks too good as it is . Beautiful truck , beautiful work. I believe this is becoming my favorite channel .
i know one day you will have what they call you tube success when it comes please don't change this is the most enjoyable channel i watch wish you weren't half way around the world
I know its a rat rod, but with some paint it would really be very cool! I do like the fact of the 4 cylinder because gas is so damn expensive! One the coolest truck builds I have seen!
@@ratrodsafrica brother you are an inspiration to me and anyone who has athe desire to build a rat rod waiting for the next project to start !!! Lol !!!
Well Diff she's a beaut, the sports muffler gives her a nice note, a bit of adjustment on the clutch will stop the grind. Only one one small quirk, and that's the ride hight. It would appear most of your driving is on the dirt, and like our rural council in Australia dirt roads don't get much attention. So I think she needs a bit of a lift, just to avoid scraping. Overall this will be a good little work horse come daily driver.
I just found this channel tonight and have watched a TON of it.... I absolutely love your entire thought process... LOVE this thing, love the vibe, the attitude. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks for the ride! I really like the pickup box, the taillights and the exhaust outlet. And the engine sound. And some other details, but I won't go on and on, lest you get all proud and hard to get along with. The scenery reminds me of rural New Brunswick, Canada, in years gone by, in contrast to other African scenes.
Yooooo!!!!! Boet made it to the maden voyage!! You had me crackin up early. This road is perfect to test if things wanna fall off, if things are falling off, if things have fallen off 😂 love it
Watching and hearing that truck peeling out on your driveway was kind of like watching a lip synced (sp?) music video,... Sumting Wong,.. Perfect! Keep on keeping on. 👍
👍👌👏 Runs well! Congrats! 2) The muffler is definitely not too loud. 3) I guess that a little hood for the air filter would be helpful and look quite nice additionally. Now the air filter is exposed to all the dust from your dirt roads and to rain. Best regards luck and health to all of you.
