Southern California Jeeping in the [SNOW]? Who Knew?!?

A true 4x4 Family Adventure! Just a routine family day trip to Liebre Mountain in the Angeles National Forest (45 minutes outside of Los Angeles) starts with warm and dry southern California weather, then quickly changes to torrential rain, a massive snowstorm and off-roading in a foot of new snow! We climbed Liebre Mountain as far as we could, putting on snow chains to prevent getting stuck. It was an amazing family outing with the kids and their snowsuits, sledding in the snow covered forest, and snowballs flying on back country trails.

Man, I've been hiking in that area 3 times, but never in snow! It sure is awesome!!
