Im sorry you had to give up your fold 3 for the 5 but i understand i saw a in depth review of the 5s capabilities and i was super impressed. But until my affordability kicks in ill stick with my fold 3. And do enjoy your 5.
a 2 years Fold 3 owner here. to be frank when I saw the Galaxy Unbox for Z fold 5, it felt a little underwhelming. They mostly look to be those standard year to year upgrade. But man how I was wrong this time. To be frank these days when you change a phone year to year or even every 2 - 3 years, you bearly feel any difference unless you switch brand or model completely. But Fold 5 actually do have quite a bit under the hood which you have to use to experience it. None were mention during their announcement. It is a pretty huge upgrade I can tell you. I truly feel that I am using a new phone despite physically it is similar to Fold 3. Good luck I hope you manage to get yours soon too.
@kopicha I agree especially after the review I viewed. I was blown away by the visual the guy was showing so many big feature upgrades I got excited like a never had a fold. I was impressed hopefully that'll be my next. And thanks for confirming what I thought and agreeing with my hope.
I ain't going to lie bro straight facts I have a z fold three it did accidentally fill out my jacket pocket the cover screen got damaged so I'm going to have to pay like 400 bucks to get it repaired I didn't get a warranty but as soon as I do that it's going to be my main phone you're right you can't go back once you start with the foldable

@@CButler yeah I'm old definitely get it fixed because I was getting into the meat of it when I dropped it. I exclusively use that phone the most out of all the phones I had and it'll probably be that way once I fix it that'll be the only one. And I've been known to use multiple phones

That being said I don't like the slim form factor on the outer display. The battery life is also wonky after almost 2 years. I have recently moved back to the candy bar style with the Infinix gt 10 pro... This joint is mad sick. I recommend that you do a review on that one if you are able to cop one. Appreciate it if you can shoot me a case for the fold 3 in any event. Thanks fam.

What is the issue with foldable concept i will take you through first of all when you fold the devices become bulky and people prefer slim phone another isssue when 6000 mh battery the devive become hevay to hold for long time .and charging time 2 hours ++ another issue costing where one can buy a phone and a tablet at much cheaper price. So basically all issues are surrounded need a complete package as per expectations
I mean there are multiple series one can choose from them and tablet with pen for home or office purpose. The idea of carrying a tablet in your pocket don't seem to be physible concept
This comment is strictly from a repair standpoint, not a user standpoint. I work for an insurance company, that mainly help with phone claims, we probably have to replace the inner screen or screen protector of these foldable phones 10-15 times a week I'd say. And if you get the screen protector changed (which shouldn't bubble up anyway since it's mandatory to keep on) it voids your warranty. Sure, you can get the first one replaced for free, but considering that Samsung considers the screen protector bubbling as "wear and tear" and not a defect, it costs to put another screen protector on if you need it in the future, AND if your device somehow freaks out and you need the warranty repair, too bad, you had your SCREEN PROTECTOR replaced. Now we cant warranty repair your phone. I'm glad that your Fold 3 didn't have any of these issues, but I've seen these issues follow the flip/fold 3, to the flip/fold 4, and now we have the 5. They fixed none of the issues that were happening on the 3 and if anything they're worse on the 4. We can't even order screen protectors for the Fold 4 because they're out of stock. That's how many need to be changed!!! Feel free to get yourself a foldable phone, but they are repair nightmares and you better get insurance for them. From all the phones I've sold in the past working in sales, to all the phones I've fixed now as a technician, I do NOT recommend these phones. I'm not an apple user, so I'm not anti-Samsung. And I don't have a Samsung, so I'm not pro Samsung. So I'm a neutral voice talking about these foldable phones. I feel like getting these phones, you're taking a risk. Sure it may work fine and nothing can happen, but you may also get the one that damages itself from daily use and now it needs repairs. Just do your research first before jumping into a foldable.

I have the zfold 3 and I'm absolutely in love with it. I can't see myself going back to a regular phone.

Me personally I'd go for the fold 5 but I've never experienced the pixel but have heard complimentary say of them.

Yes I use xbox gamepass on it works great its the only way to game now for me especially on the z Fold display it feels so good!

Sounds like you should stick would the slab style phones. The fold isn't for everyone.
I mean there are multiple series one can choose from them and tablet with pen for home or office purpose. The idea of carrying a tablet in your pocket don't seem to be physible concept
