Thank you so much for the update! Worried about our beloved Marco- so nice to see these images.
Such a beautiful and informative video for those of us who are not on Marco now. Thank You!! Just proves that man should not mess with Mother Nature.
Agreed!
Oh my goodness! How the beach has changed so much. Another great video! Thank you very much! Thanks for the update!
Thank you, Kay. Much appreciated. -Tom
Thanks for the update. Great video! Prayers to all who were impacted.
Thank you!
Thanks for the update.
Hi Deb!!
Thank you so much. How beautiful. Loved being able to see it from above like with your narration.
Hey Tom! Thank you so much for the update. I cannot get over the change! Months of work moving all that sand and only days for Mother Nature. I am heading down Oct 28 to Nov 4th. Just to do a little cleaning up after Milton. Hope to see you. Cheer and thanks again for the Marco updates.
I've got a little travel coming up but I'll be around then as well, Michael. Stop by if you get a chance.
It’s not “if” these catastrophic storms will hit, it’s “when” it will hit. It’s inevitable. Building on the coast is too risky. We all suffer. Some lose their homes, businesses, lives. Others will see their insurances increase significantly, or be cancelled by insurers leaving the area. It’s a lose/lose situation.
Thank you so much for sharing!!! … … …. Smiles, Grins, Giggles and Laughs
Thank you too! -Tom
I quite accidentally discovered YOU for the Post Helene footage. You are very talented, insightful AND YOUR voice is like that new thing
*ASMR*.
I have a very close "Sister" who mentioned she had a property. I sorta knew that. But I only learned of Marco Island 1 week prior to Milton. Your appreciation of "This Paradise" is very rewarding, as I am trying to learn about this
"New to Me", island. Ideally, your videos were shared by myself to actual RESIDENTS!
🏖 🌊 💙 . Without revealing personal information 😮 know this kind fact= her property is part of your presentation.
Thank you for the nice comment. ASMR! That made me chuckle. I usually get "nasally and whiny" LOL -Tom
Thank you for this👏👍
Thank You !
Great footage, Tom. I was wondering how Marco Island fared.
Thank you very much, Marilyn. -Tom
Great video…what’s it like know around Marco Island and Naples
This is really really great, but I don’t see any seashells
Great stuff. I was hoping you were working on a Milton impact video. At this point, Sand Dollar Spit is looking like the rebirth of Coconut Island. Tigertail Lagoon seems to be nearly choked off, possibly some flow at high tide (for now). I think certain people/groups wanted to avoid it being a cutoff pond.
I was going to fly the whole beach but Residents Beach was closed and they were doing something at the South Beach entrance with about 5 squad cars and a city truck. All of my access was cut off today. -Tom
Thanks.
Is there a reason why you can’t fly to the north end?
Thank you much
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching.
Any chance you could get a flyby of the 4 towers and beach area the other direction? My parents have a condo in one of those towers.
Do you mean Cape Marco, Alan? I'm gettng some access to that in about a week. It's hard to get over on that shoreline because of the lack of beach access. But it's coming. I've had a number of requests for that.
@@evolutionaryTom no, just looking to see how the 4 south seas towers right next to tiger tail beach did.
@@evolutionaryTom South Seas!!!!!!!!!!!!
How bad was the structural damage this time?
There really wasn't any, Pedro. The surge wasn't as high as predicted either. Still, some people had water in their homes unfortunately.
Thank you for documenting the course of the so-called "restoration". HB residents would surely have enjoyed more property protection by leaving the lagoon alone compared with the current mess.
I wonder what the next budget will be to try to recreate the nonsense!
The islands in peninsula are ever changing you people that choose to put your houses in the way that’s your poor choice.
