I converted an analogue expression pedal to a USB MIDI expression pedal which I am using in this solo to control a pitch shifter, in the same way that David Gilmour uses the Digitech Whammy pedal on the original song

when i first started getting good and into stuff like avenged sevenfold and Metallica i bought a pedal by Digitech called a Metal Master... i think it is one of my best purchases in life!! its been like 10-12 years and i have used it 95% of the time i was playing guitar.. what a sound!! when combined with effects and the "presence" dial on my old marshal "advanced valve state" amp (AVT 100?) and my Jackson slinky js32 guitar, it has the most beautiful tone... kinda reminds me of the heavenly background music when Bill and Ted get to that place with the huge crystal in Bill and Teds Excellent adventure!! its almost exactly the same sound/tone synn gates guitar solos ... i LOVE it lol .... like really!!! haha i am currently working out most of Floyd's solos by ear and with my metal master i sound even better than them haha .....10/10
