Does AUTOart’s Pagani Zonda Revolution Justifies it’s $1,500 Price Tag?

Nice! I'm sure it is hard to find the Evolution ones these days. Zonda R is more available as you said. Do you have the original AutoART Signature Series of the Nissan R390 GT1 or Mazda 787B? They are also getting more and more expensive these days and very hard to find.
Hi yes the revolution tends to be a bit more rarer than the Zonda R but both are quite expensive now whether they warrant the price is something else think that they are so rare it’s pushing the prices up - I was bidding recently for a 787B but went above my limit unfortunately think it sold for around £450/500 but I am looking for one think they look great 👍
@@CarsWithHNK I do envy you for taking ownership of the 3x Pagani... haha.. wish I have acquired them previously, but I have missed the boat. I do have the AutoART Mazda 787B #55 as well as the Nissan R390 GT1 Test Car, they both look really good with tonnes of details everywhere. Was wondering if you have them in your collections since you have a lot those from the Signature Series already. What a nice collection you have. 😊👍🏻

There is a black Mazda 787B Gran Turismo Stealth edition on ebay, but it is not the iconic #55 with orange and green graphics.

Skyrocketing
Got myself another two (have three now) Sesto Elemento's, not sure how that model is still available to buy for under 200€, i think it's a great model, and should increase in price in the future. When that comes maybe Autoart will re-realease thier Zonda R in plastic, and then I will be able to exchange my Sesto Elemento for some Diecast Zonda R goodness 😅
Hi yes true there are a few gems you can get from AUTOart Signature on eBay for around the £200 which is a great deal I also think they will steadily increase haven’t heard anything about AUTOart re releasing models yet - do you know anything about that?
My opinion: model cars are worth just the amount that was originally asked for - and not more. If the car is mint condition, in an ideal world you would get exactly the asking price again when selling. Zonda R is for sure NOT worth that money it’s currently being sold for. I think youtubers and collectors just hype the „good old autoart“ - especially the Zonda R - so much that the value exploded now. Yes it’s nice but it‘s still 1:18 scale, not 1:10 or 1:8, and may have nice details but then by far not nice enough to justify that price tag. Especially since for half the price you can get a brand new, fully opening diecast Zonda F by Almost Real / BBR which is at least as nice or better. With the Zonda F especially paintwork and the clearcoated carbon decals are miles ahead of the Zonda R. I also don't care about limitations - just look how many "limited" variations of a car BBR pushes out and how terrible BBR models (with some expections) currently sell with these over the top prices. Limitation doesn‘t mean much anymore because it‘s oversaturated and literally just being used as an excuse to ask for ridiculous prices.
Hi yes true I don’t like what BBR do with some of their models and how they limit their cars I think compared with the new AUTOart models I prefer the signature series over their new composite models I don’t think these models warrant the big price tags that are listed on eBay it’s just because they are rarer but I wouldn’t buy these now too expensive to warrant it 👍👍
when the models start costing more than actual car parts you know things are heading in a crazy direction lol

True - prices are absurd for these models but it’s a interesting topic which tends to get lots of engagement which is good 👍👍
that dynamic will NEVER change, better to not lose sleep over it
