I probably won't give many tips to you because you're already amazing at this game, (and I'll never give spoilers), but here's a small tip pertaining to what others here have already mentioned. You picked up a Heavy Runic attack from the Troll rewards, but mistook it for a Light Runic attack and said you didn't want to switch. I suggest always pressing the square when receiving new items that prompt "to view in menu" because it immediately shows what it's for and where it goes for equipping.
Here some useful tips if u like : -Don't follow boi. 🤣 Bc whenever Atreus goes in a way.. That's means there is something in the other way. (explore more) -Stones Green for health. Orange for rage. White for experience. Be careful some times there might be big Stones changing their colors G/O/W SO... Don't take "em directy. Just wait & see which one serves u better..! Either full health, full rage, 25XP -Combat Try to mix your attacks between light & heavy, that will help u in close combat & stunning enemies..! -Runic attacks They are so so useful in battle! Especially with a big group of enemies. (u have both light & heavy now) -Throw your Axe with (R1) light throw it's better, faster than the heavy one (R2) IF.. We talking about puzzles, bells or anything out of battle. -Try to Check Shield combat if u have enough XP. -Break everything in your way for extra Health or Silver. -Spartan Rage Use the rage when Kratos is injured. It's better than when u have full health. Bc it has the ability to heal u a bit every time u hit an enemy (in Rage-mode) U can also stop it by pressing L3+R3 Again..! A heavy throw will freeze some opponents but is slower and drops off more. The light throw is faster and has more range, go between R1 and R2 use the one best suited for the situation. Also you should read the beastiary codex as much as possible, it give you not only some lore but tells you the weaknesses of some enemies and the best way to deal with them.
I know this is kind of old and the game is somewhat self explanatory but your gameplay helped me get past a part I was stuck on for a while lol! Thanks!

When it comes to buying skill points, I absolutely recommend people save up first to get the projectile reflecting ability with the shield. I don't think they're actually any prerequisites required. As long as you have enough XP to get it, you can buy it
the amount of grief that washed over Kratos' face (around 3:55) right around the time that Atreus asks why his mother hand-marked the trees for her pyre. Just shows that Kratos is absolutely devastated by the loss of his wife, and I suppose her death took him by surprise since he did not have an answer. It hurts him that he cannot answer his sons questions.
That's not the read that I got. Looked more like, at that moment, he was hit with the realisation of exactly what Faye did, and why. Her specific request regarding her ashes and the sabotage, meant that Kratos had no choice but to take Atreus on this journey. It was a silent nod of acknowledgement and respect, for her cunning.
the axe makes an odd arc when you use a heavy throw and not a light one- try light throws when you are aiming for something in particular! i think you figured it out, though. you're much better at this game than i am, lol. i'm impressed you got that nornir chest on the first try, i was so bad at throwing the axe it took me a good twenty minutes to get that right!

actually the heavy runic attack is a additional runic attack .
For every non-combat axe use i recommend using the light throw, it usually works way better.
And drops less over distance for puzzle objects. Such as bells, rune rocks and Odin's Eyes.
Brok is quite the character isn't he, you will find out more about the axe pretty soon btw.
