Thank you! I agree with you it is breathtaking I almost passed out! It was very challenging trail. It was hard to find trail some areas and I almost runout of water! It
So at 17:56 when you saw some water and weren't sure if you were in the right place. That is a wash (the dry bed of a stream that flows only occasionally) and when there is rain it creates a waterfall at the end of that. We actually camped in that area (we knew there was no rain in the forecast) and day hiked down to the LCR. Your video definitely captured the beauty and difficultness of the hike and will be useful for others to gauge their abilities. If you go again, use All Trails and go into the activities and look for a trail that goes to the water (the all trails map goes to the overlook and not down to the water). That will help you figure out where to head down. There are also cairns. Good luck!
Beautiful video! I’ve dreamed of doing this hike for years. I’m in decent shape and a good climber, but at 67, I’m afraid this trail may be too long and difficult? Peace and blessings, Thanks! Don.
Sure! If you are looking at the particular trail page and scroll down to reviews. There are actually 3 “tabs”. Reviews, Photos and Activities. Click on the activities tab and then you’ll see everyone who uploaded their hike and can look for someone who hiked down to the LCR
@@Jimmysadventure3008 water was very blue and felt great to get my legs in the water after coming all that way. the hike was very difficult. we ended up setting up camp just over half way down and then continuing the next day with day packs rather that all our large packs. luckily we found the hike up easier than going down. Going down was brutal.
This place is breathtaking! Watching this just makes me feel good my friend! Fantastic video 👏👏

Hi Paul, could you please tell where to find "Activites" menu in the All Trails App in order to find the Trails that goes to the water ?

Yes! It’s really beautiful and challenging but worth it. Don’t forget to bring lots of water 💦!
Beautiful! The hike must be finished!
Yessir we need to complete the mission
Just finished the hike yesterday. Your video definitely captures how difficult it was.
Was the water blue? The day I went it was brown so I returned it! How was your hike?

I am glad to hear that! I think I will go again so I can see the water if it is blue. @@williamprokop
