Nice Rat Fink shirt! My friends and I were crazy for those graphics back in the 70s!😊Brings back fond memories of us trying to draw our versions of those characters 😅!
Hi Michael my comments appear to have disappeared into the twilight zone! The pretty things album I have the same pressing loads of great stuff! Keep on rocking Michael! Get those subscribers!👍
Hi Ian, comments disappearing seems to be a regular occurrence, I've had that happen to me a few times. I love that pressing of SF Sorrow, it sounds amazing, better than my original US copy. Thanks for tuning in and take care.
I've been really getting into Golden Earring, their early albums weren't released in the US, so I'm trying to find as many as I can. Thanks for tuning in Craig, Cheers to you as well!
Hey Brian, always nice to receive VCLT! my first Vertigo Swirl was the Sensational Alex Harvey Band's album, Next, followed by Aphrodite's Child 666 LP. Thanks for tuning in and Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
Hi Nate, yes, the VCLT from Ron was awesome, especially the Dream Syndicate LP. I never seen that Jazz comp before, but it included John and Alice Coltrane, so I had to pick it up. Thanks for your comment and hope you have a great weekend as well.
Hello Micheal, Good to see the comic was with that Blues Magoos. I love those first 2 albums, Im looking for New Dawn. Ron is a legend. I would get that Timothy Leary just for the cover, I like Free Jazz. Wow, never knew about that Nazz boot. I have that Canned Heat album also. Happy Hollidaze.....
Hi Dave, yeah, the comic was pretty cool, you don't find that in most used copies. The New Dawn is great, and worth seeking out. Ron, the man, the myth, the legend! That is quite a trippy cover on the Tim Leary album. The Nazz boot is pretty good, although some of the tracks are actually the Move! That Canned Heat album is great. Thanks for tuning in and hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving!
Hi Michael! I sent Ron that Bluebird 45 years ago, he must of not cared for it, glad to see someone liked it. Very nice VCLT from the Hog! Nice vinyl finds, Keep em coming!
Randy, you must have forgotten about the fact that you sent me two copies of that Bluebird 45. I still have a copy, it's a nice record. I like it, I promise I do! 🐦
Hogs Ear Report is one of the channels I’ve been following the longest. That Dream Syndicate looks great. I was unaware of that RSD release. Ron is very generous. I recently picked up that Savoy Brown album. The Final Solution looks interesting. That Canned Heat gas an interesting story of when it was recorded.
Ron was one of the first channels I watched before I started my own, yours was one I watched early on also. The Dream Syndicate is fantastic, I was unaware of it too, it's definitely worth picking up. I saw your video where you showed Savoy Brown, and I had picked it up just a few days earlier! I'll look for that story about Canned Heat, Thanks for tuning in Richie.
Hi Michael, I'm happy that I was able to send those records to you. You were very generous as well, thanks for reaching out to me and offering the VCLT. That New Dawn has really grown on me over the years. It really is a great album that's full of charm. Looks like you acquired some very cool vinyl this past month. That Timothy Leary movie would be interesting to watch. I steamed an episode of The Mike Douglas show from the 60s that had Leary as a guest. He was of course talking about LSD, it blew me away when he said that he had taken it around 1,500 times. Some crazy number like that, over 1000 times for sure.😵💫 Wow, that Nazz boot looks mint on camera. I think that jazz album cover is a misprint, it has to be. Hey man, have a great weekend. Ron
Hi Ron, thank you for your kind reply on the VCLT, I'm digging that New Dawn LP, better than I thought it would be. The Tim Leary album is a cool 60s artifact. I'll look for that Mike Douglas episode. I read that John Lennon had taken quite a few tabs in his day, whether he did as much as Leary, who knows? I had that Nazz boot before, it was on a label called Wizardo, the one I have now is on Ruthless Rhymes, with a picture of a dog with a gun pointed at his head that was taken from the cover of an issue of National Lampoon. I agree the jazz comp has to be a misprint, wonder if that would increase the value? I doubt it! Thanks for tuning in and have a great weekend yourself!
Hello Michael I did not yet saw this and your last video. Great vinyls. Yeah The Dream Syndicate with Steve Wynn are also a favouriteband of mine. I found this year their very nice live album "This is not....". I had that great live album before in the 80s. I will be looking also for some early Golden Earring work. Canned Heat were good friends with The Doors. And The Doors music was influenced by the music of Canned Heat I think. Have a nice weekend!
Hi Jason, I didn't notice this comment from you, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I have the Dream Syndicate live album you mentioned, it is very good, and cool that you found a copy. Golden Earring has been making music since the mid sixties, and their early albums are hard to find in the USA. Thanks for tuning in Jason, hope you're doing well.
I've never come across that Golden Earring album in the wild. I have Eight Miles High. Cool Nazz boot. Didn't know that Savoy Brown record existed! Mr. Simmonds would be happy you pronounced Savoy correctly! Ron is one of the best in the VC. Take care, thanks Michael.
Hi Ralph, The Golden Earring album was a cool find, it's as good as the 8 Miles High LP. That Savoy Brown album was never released in the US, so imagine my surprise when I came across it in the bins. Ron is awesome! Thanks as always for tuning in and take care.
Instead to,d BobbyGass that I have no Savoy Brown. I see their albums all the time e but never grab one. One of these days I will. The South American album caught my attention, love bands from that continent. Not sure about The Pop Group lol though I like what you say about its vibe. Great stuff from Ron. Enjoy your week Michael
Hey Steve, if you like electric blues rock, you should at least give Savoy Brown a listen, they are one of my favorite artists of that genre. The South American band, Final Solution, is enjoyable, light psych, but no info on the band included, and not much info about them on Discogs either. The Pop group is definitely an acquired taste, with bass heavy beats, and vocals remind me of Nick Cave when he was in the Birthday Party. Ron is LEGEND in the VC! Thanks for tuning in.
OK I just rewatched the Leary interview on Merv Griffin 1966, Leary said he took it 311 times since 1960. Guess I was trippin' when I said, over 1000 times. Jim Morrison reportedly took it appox. 250 times.
Nice Rat Fink shirt! My friends and I were crazy for those graphics back in the 70s!😊Brings back fond memories of us trying to draw our versions of those characters 😅!
I think just about every kid in the 60s and 70s tried drawing Rat Fink and his pals! I know I did! Thanks for tuning in😃.

Hey Michael Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Awesome stack of VCLT🔥I think that Jade Warrior was my 1st Vertigo swirl great album

Hi Randy, yeah, I really liked that Bluebird single, nice folk rock. Ron is very generous when it comes to VCLT. Thanks for tuning in man!

@@nearwildheaven4840 Just found it on YT it was the Merv Griiffin show 1966.
It was 311 times, not 1000+

cool that comic book was still with that blues magoos album!!
@@Davidicus-m8c Hi David, yeah, originals with comic book are hard to come by, I lucked out on that one! Thanks for tuning in and take care.
