      @drboy22 4 ปีที่แล้ว +38

      I will bet whatever amount for someone to inject steroid and hit only two homerun the way Sammy used to hit..just two. and I bet you no one will. Sammy was born with that talent and steroid do not make the player talent. so stop the hate.

    • @drboy22
      @drboy22 4 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      @@a167474 you are right and I agree with you, but my point is that people assume that by injecting it, you can hit pitched ball at 100mph and just hit homerun after homerun. that's the part I don't agree with anybody. juiced do give you more power but do not give you the talent to hit pitched ball at 98 to 100 mph and hit homerun..dud to hit a homerun you need to learn how to swing the bat in a position that only player with experience will know. it is not easy bro..i have play for years and have hit pitched ball at around 94mph..but I have never hit a ball going at more then 100mph. dud is hard to hit it trust me. so juice do not give you the talent, you need to born with it and master it with a lot of practice.

      @El Comedy Rogue they are adults. They can choose to smoke and drink both of which are FAR worse than steroids. Ive done steroids on and off for 12 years. I get in depth exams every year on my heart and entire body. The worst shape and health ive ever been in was when I wasnt working out not juicing and eating pizza and fast food. When im on juice I work out 6 days a week I drink over a gallon of water a day I have an average blood pressure of 108 over 62 and a resting heart rate of 70 There is absolutely nothing wrong with my heart. I've gotten an EKG, stress test EKG, I checked for plaque buildup in my arteries, and I'm as healthy as a horse. But if I decide to take steroids and it ends up killing me, then that's my decision. Just like if I want to smoke cigarettes and get cancer it's my decision if I want to drink and Get liver disease it's my decision. And as far as the guy saying shit about the youth of America, that's totally up to them. It's no different than drinking smoking or eating McDonald's everyday. But people don't actually research steroids and don't know shit about them. They just buy into the bullshit they see on TV. There are dozens of things that are completely legal that are far worse for you than steroids. As soon as someone says oh my God it shrink your penis I know right away that they know absolutely nothing about steroids. They assume that he take steroids or just going to drop dead of a heart attack. And these are the people that are stuffing their face with fucking McDonald's and are probably going to die of a heart attack at 45 because they're fat pieces of shit. Yet I will juice for 40 years and be healthier than they ever are

    besides the original air date watching live, this is the first time I've gotten to watch this where the video doesn't look like it was recorded on an Etch-a-Sketch. This quality is fantastic. Thank you so much for uploading This was probably my favorite for a long time. I loved 1999but watching Sosa hit the ball where he hid it in this video, was just amazing. I remember I would hang up with my buddy that I called to talk about one of the home runs and then I would call him right back to talk about it and then hang up and then call him right back hahaha this was probably one of my favorite performances of all time along with Josh Hamilton in 2008. I believe that if we had statcast back then a lot of these homeruns would be shorter than they are being estimated.when people hit the upper deck or they hit stuff that's high in the air people assume that it has to be like 500 ft but in reality it's only 20 ft past the fence.you don't know if it's coming down from the fly or if it's still on a trajectory where it's got more space to fly.so I think that 520 foot home run would have been quite a bit shorter if we had statcast but none-the-less this was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. I don't give a shit if he was on steroids.this was entertaining. And steroids made baseball better whether you agree with them or not baseball was saved by steroids.

    People always hate on Sammy saying he would not have been any good if not for roids. If 70% of MLB players were on roids, how come he was only one of a few that could mash like this? Loved watching him play, steroids or not.

    Shame on "EVERY" MLB player of this era. Everyone knew steroids was taken by the masses and running wild throughout dugouts across America. But everyone kept silent because no on wanted to be a rat. Everyone is guilty of the sin of silence. Money kept every hypocrite's mouths shut.
    Baseball ended for me in those days. All sports are now tainted and have sucked in a bunch of fans who were willing to turn a blind eye. Especially when it had to do with their favorite teams/players. Basketball and football are just as guilty for other things as well. Fixed games, etc. Good riddance.
