Parkerzoo I had a 17 Honda 680 literally loved it but it was a lemon too never ran right had it back for the same thing 15+ times Finley they told me don’t bring it back we r done helping you I get ahold of the main Honda I mean far up as I can go they told me they could get me a new one for cost but then my payments would go up I was like nope then again they they said all we can do take it or leave it so I traded in a xt1000 not truly what I wanted to do but they did it to them selves unfortunately
My can am broke less then my honda
Using dielectric grease on every electrical connection is a absolute must with these machines. They are not water tight from the factory. Double check all snorkeling connections and cvt box. Make sure they are all tight and grease belt box seal to ensure no water can get in before going deep. Will save you time and money down the road.

I have a 2019 850 Xmr with around 30 hours on it which isn’t a lot but 90% of the time it’s been under water and I’ve never had one issue other than a factory axel broke and I replaced them with cobras. It’s been great other than that. Can ams are pretty reliable but they do have their quirks. I love mine but my Honda is definitely a tank no doubt about it

Dylan Weldon really doesn't matter since it wasn't a motor issue. Can am stuffed up when installing the seals. It would have eventually happened even if he did break it in slowly since it wasn't sealed properly.
Dylan Weldon break In period is 20 miles and that’s only for the belt I just bought one 2 weeks ago but yea I still didn’t run mine hard for about 50 miles just to b safe

FYI, get your trucks alignment and frame checked, in any accident even if it’s the receiver hitch because this attached to the frame and even if you don’t feel it the frame is taking the blow of the car which can put the blow through the entire truck damaging engine stuff and transmission stuff, it’s the same effect as trying to rip the frame off the truck with just a chain and a tractor
Also not a bad idea to get the can am checked as well, not that it won’t be flipped over and stuff but could save you some green if you do get it checked, things like shock absorbers like to bend

I was honestly wondering if once CanAm opened it up and saw all of the mud if they would even honor the warranty since he did not follow the rules for the break in period.

@@DieselAddict-vs9fc even though it might be made for it most power vehicles such as motorcycles and ATVs have to be broken in properly for the engines to be healthy. Just going out and bashing on it doesn't allow all the internals to set right.
@@cyclopes859 but the problem was an error from factory with the snorkel kit. So it had zero to do with engine. It was a flaw from factory.
Quick tip if you Chris the Chains making an X it will catch the neck and keep it from hitting the ground
my dad ran into a similar situation. someone rear-ended him but he had a big trailer hitch so his truck wasn't damaged but the car had their radiator pulled out

Yeah they are saying in his state you don't need them on the trailer as long as you can see the trucks brake lights. But in my state the trailer also has to have brake lights.

Bro my first wreck happened similar to yours. Old guy wasn't paying attention and slammed on breaks and swerved to miss the cars in front of him. Well I hit the breaks driving a duramax of course in the pouring rain. Heavy a** truck slid into his rear, the lady behind me slams into the ranch hand bumper and bends the hitch like a banana peel. Except I got off with 3 points on my license and a fat ticket because some old dude doesn't know how to drive🤦♂️😂

You got rear ended n I backed into some dudes car with my truck today.... Construction was going on on my street n I was backing out n they had shit on the driveway n side walk n I tried to go around it as I'm backing up. My driveway is a hill. N as I was backing up . I got way to close to the dude's fender and good. Needless to say my rear bumper road over his shit .... We both were good about it. Bad mistake but glad no one was hurt on my end and yours
I mean for like 30 bucks you could get magnetic trailer lights .. you can see my truck lights past my trailer too but to be extra safe I have lights anyways :) and the trailer will make it fine :) just take it home afterwards and weld it up
