Hi everyone 🫶 this was the hardest challenge I've attempted in my life. If there's one thing that I hope watching this leaves you with it is that we can all attempt and accomplish things that seem impossible at first.
Blueprint forced me to come face-to-face with stories about myself that I didn't realize subconsciously ruled my life: that my health is secondary to my work, that I am not an athletic person and will never be fit, that I can't push myself physically, that I am already operating optimally, that I'd rather live fast and hard than take care of myself, that I am less important than those around me. These stories justified my self destructive behavior.
Living on earth can be hard I hope this video gives you the courage to take the tiniest of steps toward caring for yourself and those around you ❤

Would love to see this done on someone like me-mid-50s, disabled by chronic pain, a survivor of breast cancer since my 30s. She already looks fit. What I want to know is how much can a person actually turn things around when they’re not starting off in great condition, young, and without having had serious illness (and serious treatment, like chemo and radiation). I would find that so inspirational.

He can afford to go to extremes that most people cannot, but that's all a part of the process. I also appreciate that he's sharing his findings and knowledge. I'm 61, and I practice many of the routines and healthy habits that Bryan and other people have recommended. I have a very limited budget, but I take the regular supplements that my budget allows for (about 10 in total), I eat a healthy, balanced diet, I intermittently fast, I vigorously exercise 9-10 hours a week, and I strive to get a deep 7 hours of sleep per night. I now focus on very low to zero processed carbs, high quality protein, veggies, and fat. I shoot for one gram of protein per pound of ideal body weight per day combined with about the same amount of exercise as you.
I need to do more resistance work though. 😎
As for supplements I focus on Vitamin D (GreenPasture org) and K2 MK7 and the rest that support D assimilation and activation like Zinc, Magnesium, Potassium, etc. The rest like Vitamin C and B's I try to get from healthy food. I wish I could afford the nutrient testing they did with Kate to see where I'm deficient.

I understand that is hard to understand (or even fathom) for a young(er) person to imagine how aging feels for people that are in bad shape or have not taken care of their bodies and minds throughout their lives. We usually don't think about it until later. I have read MANY comments about "quality of life & happiness" and things like that. Those are very SUBJECTIVE, but one thing that is common to all of us, is the fact that it is not fun to be unhealthy. For me, quality of life is to be as healthy as I can be so I can enjoy my life to the fullest. That, in turn, brings ME happiness. I'm not obsessed about it but I very invested in it. I have been sick and I have been healthy, and I can attest to the fact that HEALTH is all that matters at any age. Not money or status or anything else trumps that IMO

I'm so happy and grateful to learn about how the protocol affects the female body! I do think you should continue measuring the affects on the female body since we should adapt our diet, exercise and stress level to all phases of the menstrual cycle.

I used to think so too, until I found a loophole. Different phases of my menstrual cycle affect my energy levels greatly and I used to hate it because I wanted to stay consistent and effective with my strength training.
While it is true that you need to adapt your diet and stress levels to your cycle, I found that you don’t need to change your workout routine at all.
What works for me is drinking coffee before my workouts in the luteal phase and the first half of my period. I always work out every other day, so I drink 1 cup of coffee every other day, during this time and no coffee at all during other phases, which is key because it ensures that my body retains its sensitivity to caffeine.
I started seeing so much more progress at the gym, after implementing this. I’m content with the results.

@@antoninaorlova2169that's interesting. However for me I would say I definitely need to adjust my workouts according to my cycle. In luteal phase I switch to slower pace training, I go for slow stengh and weight training, sometimes even pilates. My energy dips significantly so I try to avoid intense cardio, HIIT and stuff like that. And once my period starts I avoid training abdominal area, and still stick to slow, even gentler workouts. Sometimes on day one or two of my period I have pain and/or sensitivity so I skip working out altogether. I would love to learn the blueprint for exercising for women

The first thing I think about is wow, imagine if you had to work 50-60 hours per week at a job you didn't like, struggled to pay the light bill, couldn't afford good food, had an undependable car, and owed 75000 in student loans...plus the problem you have now. If all you had to do was work at your fitness and nutrition, you'd be fit and healthy. And sleep great at night!

This video was pure propaganda and it's so obvious she's just here to cash in (the ending really confirmed this). I'm a guy so not totally clued in here experientially but have observed women close to me who have gone through hormone struggles in relation to over exercising and wrong diets. She's on 1700 calories a day doing high intensity training for almost an hour? She doesn't have a period, surely. I'm just a guy behind a keyboard, and they are the ones with the endless 'data', but it isn't hard to tell Brian and co. are essentially just pushing the next Huel or Soylent product to the masses.

    • @IntoBloom-wz3nl
      @IntoBloom-wz3nl 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@leannastyI know plenty of WMMA fighters and boxers and they absolutely do still go on periods despite training 2-3 sessions a day anywhere from hours of wrestling to hitting pads sparring and conditioning. It only gets really out of wack during camps when they’re deliberately slowly cutting down on weight for a fight, and water cutting days out of a fight with heavy calorie restriction.
Even then, some still need to time contraceptives and maybe even wear menstruation cups or tampons just in case. Some even pull out days out from fights because of periods causing weight cut issues from water retention. and it’s not uncommon to fight with them either.
What this woman is doing in the video is simply light work compared to these high level athletes who take punishment to the body for a living. She even says she’s trying to maintain the same weight, the 1700 calories probably takes that goal into consideration. The protocol is not even in the same stratosphere when it comes to diet restriction and intensity that even amateur fighters go through. It’s not the point. The human body is extremely resilient to pressure-she wasn’t eating junk either, each calorie mattered I’m sure she was fine MAYBE experienced a lighter cycle for a bit.

This is because for the longest time, many studies did not bother including women in their research studies and looking at sex disaggregated data. If you are genuinely curious about learning more, I recommend the book “Invisible Women” which provides a comprehensive review about this gender data gap across multiple sectors. Otherwise, there are plenty of articles online from reputable health and research websites that you can look into! When I saw this video this reminded me about switching to a whole foods vegan diet. That alone instantly made me feel so much better. Get a vegan vitamin supplement, regularly watch science-based nutrition to pick up healthy foods and pattern, use something like cronometer to track your nutrient intake for a while, start with a workout routine.
Also, I highly disagree with the statement that exercise does not get easier. It certainly does. 10 years ago I started cycling and if you are trained you can climb up hills like it is nothing.

    Hello Bryan!
I have been following your journey for a bit now and I am 100% onboard with your mission and everything you are doing to further the human race. I rarely comment on any of your content or interviews you’ve done because I assumed you’re too busy being an entrepreneur to read random comments from strangers like me. However, you mentioned in a recent interview that you try to read every single comment, so I am going out on a limb in hopes that one day you may see this!
I am a 29-year-old female professional dancer with a master’s degree in Health Education and Promotion. I have been vegan and gluten free for 12+ years. I workout every single day. I wear spf on my face and body every day no matter the weather. I have air purifiers in every room. I wear earplugs in many places in order to not damage my hearing. I don’t drink or eat out of plastic. I cook only on cast iron pans. I sleep 8 hrs every night. I fast for 12-15 hrs every day. I do not smoke, drink, or do any kind of drugs. I have all my devices on airplane mode whenever possible and do not use wireless headphones in order to reduce EMF radiation. I take only freezing cold showers. The only water I drink is filtered from toxins. I purchase only 100% chocolate and olive oil that have the lowest levels of heavy metals, etc. All of my toiletries and cosmetics are completely plant based, fragrance free, dye free, etc. I spend hundreds of dollars a week on vitamins and supplements (I take more pills a day than anyone I know besides you!). I don’t use a microwave. I don’t even own a TV. I am obviously extremely passionate about health and wellness and maximizing my lifespan and living as long as possible. I have basically been following your Blueprint for years now without even knowing it!!! I love everything you are doing and fully support it. (We are not ‘crazy’ for not wanting to die. Other people are crazy for doing things daily that are knowingly increasing their speed of aging. It is very sad to me how ignorant people are to their own self-destructive behaviors…)
Anyway, needless to say I would have loved to be your first official female test subject for Blueprint, haha. The main reason why is because I have one issue that I cannot seem to figure out in regards to your protocols. When I was on an extremely low-calorie diet, my body fat dropped significantly and I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. I lost my period for several years. I now have to eat 2,500-3,000 calories a day to sustain the amount of intense exercise I do while maintaining the function of my female hormones. This is my biggest curiosity when it comes to Blueprint for women. I know that having a regular consistent menstrual cycle is imperative for female health. However, when I restrict my calories it becomes dangerous and affects my hormones. Females biologically require a higher percentage of body fat, especially around the stomach area, in order to have a fully functional hormonal system and healthy properly working uterus. I do want to have children in the near future, so I know I cannot restrict my caloric intake and get down to such a low weight as I was in the past. However, I am very passionate about following Blueprint meticulously so I can reduce my speed of aging (and so I “DON’T DIE”)!! :D How can a woman of fertile age maximize fertility to bear children someday, yet also be on such a restrictive diet? Like I said, I eat 100% vegan and gluten free. I eat the same meals every day, practically the same meals as you, just in a bit bigger quantities so I don’t lose my period again. I was hoping your new experiment with Kate would reveal much needed answers to the complicated questions about female biology and hormones. However, this video did not address any changes to her cycle, or outline any adjustments made during the menstrual phase, such as increasing calories and/or carbohydrates during the week the uterus is shedding, or the week following to make up for lost nutrients?? Or was iron, potassium, etc. just increased via supplements during this time of the month? Did her cycle proceed as normal on the same 1,700 calories each day of the month? I want to follow Blueprint to the best of my ability. However, I do not want to get to a dangerously low weight again because I do not want to do harm to my hormonal function and fertility...
Thank you so much for your dedication and passion. You are a gift to this world and I love watching you succeed. Hope to hear from you!
    Be Well,
    Irene Schultz, M.Ed.

Hi there. I am not Bryan, but read your book lol. I hope he enters you into his blueprint as you seem super qualified.
I love what Bryan is doing as well, but there is much more that he can add into his blueprint to maximize his pursuit in slowing our aging process. Blueprint is definitely the start and I’m sure there’s others not in the media or self promotion that are trying different formulas as well.
As our society advances, more solutions and upgrades to our health are available. I mean “organic” was only widely introduced as a safety measure to produces about 6-8 years ago. And organic doesn’t mean pesticides free (just reduced).
Although I like what Bryan is doing among others like David Sinclair and such. It’s hard for many to implement his blueprint formula.
Career industry, personal lifestyle choices, habits, and etc are huge influences to a wide range of human aging statistics.
For example, people who don’t have “freedom from time” (don’t have to work for money) have the worst chances at longevity because the majority simply can’t adopt the blueprint nor a semi blueprint.
      For example:
Worst chance of longevity (based on lifestyle, habits, etc
      truck driver category:
They only have access to horrible food choices (unless they meal prep), parking of their vehicle with trailer is the biggest challenge and hence truckstops act as their best convenience, forget the gym (unless they have a non equipment access workout plan or willing to take an energy drink after 8-10hrs of driving , their sleeping environment (their truck with engine on sometimes for heat) I’d say sleep score of 70% at best lol.
*Now there might be 1,000 drivers who are able to overcome all this out of 3m+ but this is just an example.
There’s been so much social media clowning people with an office job (9-5) but those guys have the best chance at adopting blueprint as they are better situated to can allocate time for gym, healthier food options, and etc. Basically having an easier time to allocate for healthy activities, food choices, etc.
I think Bryan should run a test on an individual male/female in top 10 industries as a study and from there create adjustments that would provide transitioning to adopting a greater chance.
Other than that, I hope there’s some different Bryans out there innovating other forms of slowing our aging process that would help society without much work.
Maybe in 2035-40 (or sooner) we can grow new organ parts and be able to change them out like car parts. I think that is when the evolution of human aging and longevity will really be maximized.
I personally think humans have health issues as we age due to our organs becoming older (more miles) and failing to function as well as when they were brand new lol. The blueprint Bryan created is only a guide to better maintenance /care of the human body.
We need more 1,000 more type of Bryans working on advancements from all angles to really come up with a true solution that will expand the average human life range into the 100-120 and the top 5% to live into the 150s and beyond.
But do we all really want to live till 150 and beyond?? Definitely not in a wheelchair and living back to infancy levels of lifestyle with tons of nursing care.
Would be really great to live at 150 with a body/brain function rating of a 40-50 year old (in today years)
To everyone’s pursuit of better health and longevity 🙏🏻💪🏻
Disclaimer: I am not a truck driver, scientist, doctor, nutritionist, someone with a 9-5 job, nor retired.

Congrats on such amazing results in just 30 days! So inspiring and motivating to see how much you achieved in such a short time. I am so happy you made this decision, Kate! Instead of doing all the measurements every day, you can spend more time to bring the program to as many people as possible. I have just started my own health programme for the coming 3 months, inspired by Blueprint (adapted to my personal situation). Goals: do full front splits, get closer to middle splits, improve posture in wheel pose, learn a free handstand, better VO2 max, pull-ups, chin-ups, push-ups and dips with full body weight. My diet is already similar to Bluepring (mostly whole food, fully plant based vegan). So excited and curious to see my results in 3 months!
