My first thought at the space comment in the absence of ships was potentially a phase similar to Endor where the characters would be reskinned as republic or droid ships.

- Droids so STAP’s unique is active
- Maul + Sidious
Thank you also for the breakdown. As you were talking I was thinking of pilots for fighters as well. The conjecture led me to think of the fighter Yoda used to find the Whills. While it wouldn't necessarily have to be an attacking fight but a support ship. Please continue to be an advisor. Having more points of view allows for a better player.

Interesting thoughts. I have to admit I think QA won‘t need a Jedi Healer as lead. She will have two hero characters in her squad and the synergies they three have will most likely be enough for it to work. Leaving Luminara and Counsellor as the leaders for the two other GR squads.
I would also put R2D2 in that QA squad, since he gives additional synergies to all.
As a poor beginning player:
Undersized gungans might work. And: Big Boss Nadd's shield generator might be bugged and still be placed with non-gungans.
We shall see; I have 3 gungans at 5 stars.
Separatists: imo: Nute Gunray, Sidious, Darth Maul. Agreed. Then Magnaguard, and B2.
4 of those are required for various GL's. B2 can get lots of bonus turns, and you get B2 & Magnaguard to remove enemy buffs, like pesky droideka damage immunity!
Jedi-wise: I'd group the 5 required for JMK. (OG Qui-Gon, Mace Windu, GMY, Aayla Secura & Shaak-Ti (if I get around to farming her)).
Relicing those would again, not be 'wasteful' at all.
Then Luminara, Consular, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto and a 5th would complete my raid teams pretty much.
These would not get invested into probably.
I'm not convinced Consular is 'good enough' to serve as leader: he does not get 'normal leader' bonuses after all.
Besides maybe a left-over mix with B1, Droideka, R2D2, Eeth Koth & Jedi guardian...
I think B1 in a 'main' team may be sketchy, if the raid is going to contain B1's and STAP's, plus commander droids, there may be quite a bunch of AoE damage coming in.
Which B1 is really not a fan off. Or he get's targeted, and there's 2 enemy B1's assisting. There go 24 stacks of droid battallion.
i was expecting the raid info to be part of the road ahead... makes me wonder (somewhat apprehensively now) what cg has up their sleeve to 'subvert' year-end farming plans. with R9 being added to the raid requirements for top rewards i see R10 looming. great stuff! thx...
Great video and you just laid out the squadron for the next GL capital ship: Anakin's "Resolute". (as you predicted some time ago)
This GL ship is going to be confirmed (or not) with the release of the 1st galactic chase already datamined of the 3 to come..
The "Endurance" is too early access in game to be meta and... no money there.
Not to mention they just reworked the Endurance to have synergies with clone ships. It wouldn't make sense to then give him a Jedi fleet.
Quick note, Luminara’s heal also gives 1 stack of HOT (more in GAC, assuming any ally doesn’t have Prot Up to stop them from getting it)
The protection up issue, isn’t that just the omicron in GAC? I gotta go look again now. :)

What this raid should be?
Glad you asked....it should have Young Anakin shard drops in group and personal....more on personal ramping up in crates obviously
Then once you unlock Young Annie The raid provides a secondary round or 6th attempt.....that attempt you guessed it
a Space stage with A yellow star fighter with reqs of Annie and R2 relic 9 fighting against the space station
You get the voice of Annie saying lets take this off auto pilot it's going to get us both killed and random whooohoossss as the station blows up.
by completing this space stage you get star fighter shards and will help your guild get a higher Crate and your personal rewards
Annie will also be super helpful in the raid as a flexible super character......the yellow starfigher will be an all around ship or whatever ship
If they don't do this they are missing out on how to hype people up on this raid and really dipping into the Phantom Menace Nostalgia

The separatist in the leader slot doesn't have to have a leader ability. B1, maul, sidious. B1 is always using a special ability. This allows you to have a full sep team with Nute lead
True, but as Nute is the only separatist with a leader ability, and that is pretty good, and fast to take many turns, I thing Nute will be better if you can use him than a non-leader droid.
@@thegerbil23 but then you have a bunch of droids without a leader, I'd rather have a full team with a leader ability than one without.
I have to say though getting to theory craft on raid teams again feels great, it's one of the (many) reasons the endor raid feels lacking
@@thegerbil23but i think the argument is not for b1 lead vs nute lead I think the argument is that with maul being juiced and sidious too you can have 2 dark side teams.
1) b1 maul sidious where maul is the "carry"
2) nute + the rest where stap is the carry (presumably)
In this line of thinking councilor lead is also not a thing (in your suggested teams that team is quite weak anyways) and instead you probably run a queenie lead team which will be able to kind of... bruteforce their way through it.
Nutes lead turned out to be useless here. How fun
They are pushing R9 for this raid... we might get R10 soon?

Ya, I think it's time for an update. I just struggle to find something I like also. haha
I think the Separatists and Sith will be on one team and will likely be Nute lead, Sid, Maul, STAP, +1 Sep Droid (probably B2 or Magna)...
Will probably try QA, POW, MQGJ, R2D2 and Mace for the earliest Level 7 R9 team, along with Gungans, Beq GR Jedi then Lumi GR Jedi as the 5th team 🤔
with gungans being 5 team you can assume 5

my biggest question is this.. do all toons have to be at 7 star min g12 to be useful? ive got my new Qadme at 7 star g12 but my POW & MQG are still only 4 star g11+4..
so does that mean theyll be useless?

what do you think "at max rank" means for Sidious?
I think it means that you do not have to improve the ability for it to be activated at the max level
His leader ability will be at level 8, what else could it mean?
@@osets2117 I was worried it was only active at Tier 7 (all Relic 9). I certainly hope that's not it.
Is level 0 still a thing?
Yes. 1x, no added bonuses to the enemy or to the factions, just the permanent faction bonuses
unless you're a huge whale you need to put teams together that have highest relics. Then work your way into forming synergy....that is what makes the raid fun
Jedi Consular is not a leader
He does not have to be. The raid details say “If the ally in the Leader slot is a Healer…..”. Having a leader ability is irrelevant.
