- In this video, we Look at the Thursday Boot Black Matte Captain Boots. I have always been interested in Thursday Boot ever since seeing reviews that were done by other TH-cam Creators. They always mentioned how great they were from design, to quality, to comfort. Fortunately, I was give a pair of Black Matte Captain Thursday Boots at Menfluential. So in todays video, we will do a Thursday Boot Review, that focuses on the Black Matte Captain Boots.

I made the same mistake with going up a little in size. The area between the toe and the laces started to crease really bad and it hasn't been the same since I bought them, but they are still super comfortable. I got the captians in brown

😂😂 I can believe it. Everyone that I know that own Thursday boots have at least 2 pair. I will probably get another pair in the future. This time, I’ll get the right size!😂
You should have exchanged them with the correct size. It happened to me, so I returned them and got the size that fits my feet better. Thursday were really fast with the exchange. Great review by the way!
Thanks @mrvico001. I would have exchanged them, but they were given to me and I don’t think I can exchange them. I could sale them and use the money to get another pair, but I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them. I think I’ll keep them and just buy another pair soon!

Great video Dapp! I own two pairs of boots by a company called Tayno . I also own a pair of boots from Robert David and Alfani and a pair from Joseph Abbound.

Jarod, I love brown/tan boot. I just have too many of them. But I’m sure I will get another pair in the future. I have my eye on some Taft boots right now as we speak.

Hi, bro. You typically wear a US 10.5 in which shoes? 'Cause i wear a US 9 in Jordan 1s, so I was thinking of getting those boots in 8.5.
Hey Wendell! So I’m a size 9.5. I only took the 10 because that was the only size that they had that was close to a 9.5. Because the leather stretches overtime after wearing them, I should have gotten a size 9. So order a half size down from your normal size.

Does the matte black scratch a lot over time? I'm debating between them and the regular black captains
Hey Ishan. I’m not really sure right now. I haven’t worn them enough to tell. I got them out of season, but I am excited to get a chance to wear them now. I do think that the quality of the boots are great but they probably are not resistant to scratching. We shall see.

Sorry for the late response. I would probably go with the dark olive over matte black. Something about olive makes me think I would stand out, but the Matte black are official.

Hey Brian. I haven’t worn them much. I got them in March and haven’t worn because of the great weather. But I plan to weather them often this fall and winter. I’ll let you know how it goes.

If the boots are too big for you, then sell them for a reasonable price and use that money to help purchase a new pair that fits.
