Honestly, I don’t think Puririka is defendable here, even if English might not be her first language, she still should let people at least reference her art or take inspiration from it, not that her bio stops anyone from it, it’s that she completely shuts it off, almost like she owns full right to a few strokes of a digital brush on a canvas, I understand that what she draws takes time and energy but the fact she is so obsessive over her own art style is a bit of a put off in my opinion, I personally don’t think the art style is that special or pleasing to my eye, yes it’s done strikingly but I just don’t feel like this art style is that original anyway, since the beginning of art, there have been countless styles and this is a pretty generic looking and I’m pretty sure any other person would’ve tried experimenting with an art style and made something that looks like the jelly art style, big eyes, rosy cheeks, sad and puppy like face, pretty much a doll aesthetic, I’m pretty sure an art style is not made by just thinking for a bit without any help, I’m very sure that she has also referenced many other artists so I don’t see why she can’t let others reference hers, anyway this is getting long, if you actually sat through all of that, no you didn’t.
I don’t get the big deal and why people have a rage Fit😤 With this person‘s particular art style just because they like to draw art a certain way with this Cut Korean girl art style doesn’t mean you should don’t automatically go bash it This is completely toxic and unnecessary hate for no reason and yeah sure she might’ve copied or email someone else’s art style a little bit with her own but who doesn’t idolize my art style to the point where they want to So What emulate it like “Loves art23. art styles and motifs and inspiration aren't physical things you can just up and steal, this conversation has been getting bigger and bigger in my years as an artist who uses the internet a lot and it's still confusing. i know "Original character do not steal" has been a thing but how many things are people gonna get this territorial about?? I've even seen comments under art asking "Can i be inspired by this" and the artist replying NO 💀💀 You can draw whatever you want, you can do whatever you want, idk who needs to hear this but you dont need permission to *be inspired to make art*. imo this is a community that should be about sharing and helping each other grow and just expressing yourself, not trying to trademark and copyright absolutely everything out of one's own insecurities. i get the feeling of your art being an extension of you and your identity and thus youd feel like you have to protect it from copycats or whatever but honestly?? really whats so wrong with that?? if i had followers that tried to draw like me because they admire my art style id find it really sweet. its not like they're about to steal your followers if the clout is what you're worried about lmaoo

her making tutorials still isint a invite to copy her art she shows u how to render a face (for refrence) but straight up copying the proportions is not it and i dont know why ppl are villanizing riri so much for this
Firstly, proportions? I am sorry, but I don't think anyone is gaining anything from drawing with similar proportions as another artist. Secondly, the artist was 13. Riri is 18. I think an 18 year old shouldn't be mean to a 13 year old online for taking inspiration from their art, period, done

"formal teaching consists of lectures, tutorials, and practicals" 2. an account or explanation of a subject or task, especially as an online video. If you’re gonna be posting art tutorials online then you’re basically inviting young artists to get inspiration from your art style and maybe even try drawing in that style. And its not like its an uncommon art style by any means. This just seems like another example of petty artist drama.
I enjoy the artstyle but I hate that most of the subjects are East Asians like bro can you atleast put some rep in it
It's kinda ugly tho
@-MinnieDolly- I love your pfp
hahaha not the riri.
Hiii!!
Hiiii
its just ugly
So true like it’s so ugly
I don’t get the big deal and why people have a rage Fit😤 With this person‘s particular art style just because they like to draw art a certain way with this Cut Korean girl art style doesn’t mean you should don’t automatically go bash it This is completely toxic and unnecessary hate for no reason and yeah sure she might’ve copied or email someone else’s art style a little bit with her own but who doesn’t idolize my art style to the point where they want to So What emulate it like “Loves art23. Art style is eerily similar to visit, pops, art style and you don’t see me calling her a complete copycat and bashing her TH-cam channel and art no I sure love and appreciate and good inspiration for her own art that’s just what freaking artist do we need to stop the toxicity right now and then not make a big deal of things that aren’t even that important is toxic and it needs to stop in the community now
I like your voice❤
art styles and motifs and inspiration aren't physical things you can just up and steal, this conversation has been getting bigger and bigger in my years as an artist who uses the internet a lot and it's still confusing. i know "Original character do not steal" has been a thing but how many things are people gonna get this territorial about??

Holy hell I'm early
She never said don’t be inspired, she said don’t copy or use her art as a base or reference, wording matters!

her making tutorials still isint a invite to copy her art she shows u how to render a face (for refrence) but straight up copying the proportions is not it and i dont know why ppl are villanizing riri so much for this
Firstly, proportions? I am sorry, but I don't think anyone is gaining anything from drawing with similar proportions as another artist.
Secondly, the artist was 13. Riri is 18. I think an 18 year old shouldn't be mean to a 13 year old online for taking inspiration from their art, period, done
the word Tutorial definition:
1.
a period of tuition given by a university or college tutor to an individual or very small group.
"formal teaching consists of lectures, tutorials, and practicals"
2.
an account or explanation of a subject or task, especially as an online video.
"he has created a simplified tutorial on how you can cut hair at home"
a person making a tutorial is legit an attempt at teaching people how to do a thing.

Tutorials = showing you how I do it. Doesn’t automatically mean she was inviting people to literally copy her work???
... that's literally what tutorials are for. it's teaching others how you do it.
Tutor is in the name.
@@ghoulchan7525 That doesn’t mean she’s INVITING OTHERS TO COPY HER.
@@tsukitanuki101 actually yes. if you make a tutorial you are encouraging people to copy what you do. weather it's a straight up copy from the tutorial. or taking what they learned from you and use it in their own art
@@ghoulchan7525 Use common sense and context clues. Artist uploads tutorial, artist says “do not copy my art” and you take that as “Guys follow the tutorial.”
@@tsukitanuki101 then why did they call it a tutorial instead of an art progress showcase or SpeedPaint???
