I just bought the V Lux 5 and haven't really used it yet. Your review of it is helpful. I'm disappointed that its not weather sealed. I own two Sony Cameras. I own a A7iv and A7Riv. The weight of those cameras is one of my b reasons for buying Leica which buy the way really is Panasonic with the Leica label on it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I am a new subscriber and a new fan. It seems like you very opinionated. Thank you so much for that. Here is my million dollar question. I have a Song dsc hx400v but my struggle is, (to my limited knowledge) it cannot be fitted with a Rode Wireless Go as it does not have a microphone jack. I found some adapters that can purchase, but…the receptacles on the camera are not wired internally for a microphone. I did find that Sony does make wireless external microphones that can connect but are not completely compatible with this model. Sound problems from what I have read, but I don’t know nothing about sound to know that it would bother me. Should I trash my idea of making sound work on this camera? Humor bagel and gilstrap tv are both TH-cam channels that I’m going to try and put my own spin on. Taking video from long-distance while having good audio, stability and focus while being discreet but not too creepy (lol) are big. Can you offer a recommendation that will do these? I’m really new to cameras so high end would probably be above my knowledge.
I did that years ago with a leica vlux at the time and a canon and lumix. My problem was the noise(lot of it). Luckily was able to sell and returned the vlux.
Those smartphones use a lot of digital zoom (basically just stretching the image). Otherwise, 10x optical zoom is the most optical zoom you can get for smartphone (some Samsung flagships).

I just go with Panasonic LUMIX FZ300 ,where as others rest 4 feature like canon and Nikon is also good.

Hey, you praise the Leica V-Lux but your video shows the Leica C Lux. Why is that?
I have the Canon and the Sony, and it’s good enough for me.
No 4K 60fps support in any of these cameras!?
How can this be classed as a Budget Buyer's Guide when the price of the P1000 is one of the highest of all bridge cameras.
Overpriced and overrated. The P950’s specs are far superior and you’re pretty much never going to need 125x zoom. 85x or even 60x is plenty.
Did I miss something? The P100 review showed 'super zoom shots' of the people taking images and NOT the camera's results
Good
Good video thank you but the zoom is not 24 X ex it is 24 X times magnification. God list though thank you.
Leica? Just get Lumix. Same technology, lower price + weather sealing.
What weather sealing?
Best camera for astrophotography?
how can a smart phone do 100x.. s22 and iPhone 15

Budget Buyer's Guide: Buy a Leica.
Yeah okay.
16x is not super zoom.
