Because knowing your enemy is half the battle.

I had the same experience but actually Tokyo has gotten significantly better. That base design is disgustingly good and the implementation of extra peeks, places to throw grenades, using smoke to cover rebuilds, having so many ways to rat around your base, and draining/deny resources from your raiders is top notch and honed. I used to be frustrated at old Tokyo videos some times where they'd fight and fight and fight and end up losing to attrition. The only way to "win" a raid is to run your raiders out of resources by wittling down their ammo, meds, and respawn timers and making them use more explosives than they have by either looting rockets from them or rebuilding sections of your base or re-sealing compound. The fact that this clan wasted over 100 rockets and multiple MLRSS runs is astounding, and all of those tactics combined to make it possible.

What I meant by "Nothing's new" was that after so much time (been following his videos for over the past 2 years, also listening to his music, I love it) his videos are still entertaining, he hasn't lost his edge, and keeps delivering. I am not a hardcore rust player, I would never be able to persist through 1/20'th of the stuff he goes through unhindered throughout a wipe. I admire people with such persistence.
